Has anyone seen Zac new body for his new movie "The Lonely One"! WOW, he got HUGE! I saw a pic of him in the In Touch magazine i think!

I never thought I'd consider Zac a good looking guy. He's no longer boyish looking, but yet I still get that awful High School Musical image out of my head. Slab another 20lbs on him and that just might make me forget.

Regardless, I wouldn't throw him out of the bed as he is now.

I guess I'm going to go against the grain and say that I really fail to see what the big deal is with Zac Efron. When he was in the various Disney movies, I thought he was twinky cute, but that's it. Now he's cut his hair so that he just looks like he stepped out of a Hollywood cookie-cutter, and there is a big difference between having muscles, and being so thin that your muscles show anyway. He has nothing in terms of size, and seeing pics of him leaving his gym on the internet, I do beleive he's trying to put on some muscle, but it seems to me like his genetics aren't going to allow it.

Wow, what a negative snarky thing to say.

Of course his genetics will allow it. All he'd need is training, food, possibly supplements.

It's his career that won't.

Being huge is not a good career move for a regular actor. Specialist, yeah, but he can't get much more muscled than he is right now if he wants to get any roles that will keep him going for more than four years in action movies.

Especially since the last decade has shown a marked decrease in the courage and imagination of Hollywood's producers; they're still freaking out that Inception was a success because it isn't an already-existing brand. At some point this will change again but for now, mindless (fiscal) conservatism rules the studios and NOTHING really new can even get funded.

Efron is a brand already. Marketing idiots won't be able to sell him to his established audience if he changes his packaging, and for the next few years that's what will matter for his career.

It is sad that you are both right. He was "twinky cute", is too thin, and has fallen into the mundane.
But his genetics wont stop him from gaining size when he and his career are both ready. All we can do now is wait.

...Unless somebody knows hypnosis, and can sneak in to his bedroom each night.

Or slip something into his drinks to help his work outs along.

I think what makes this more special is he has grown so much since he became well known in the public arena. I mean him now compared to then is drastic. He seems dedicated to building his body and who knows what will happen if he continues. I can't wait to see. I think he looks incredible now.

well guys for this movie he is in hes playing he part of a marine so im sure he understood he had to get into great shape for it.
