Smile Favourite muscle scenes/movies/TV moments?

Hey people!

New poster here! Great board you've got going on here.

Watched 'No Holds Barred' last night...with Hulk Hogan. Great film...tons of muscle action from both leads! Some real hot scenes of a muscleman dominating another guy, especially from the black wrestler, 'Zeus'.

So, what are your favourite scenes from TV shows and movies with muscle guys showing off their hunky physiques or awesome strength? I'll start...

Andrew Bryniarski performing, a double front biceps, in an episode of 'Lois & Clark - Superman' is a great favourite of mine...what a big guy!

Waaaaay too numerous to list!

Some stand outs:

-- Dave Draper pulling his shirt off in "Don't Make Waves"

-- The shirtless scenes of Paul Telfer in this week's "Hercules"

-- Any number of scenes of Brad Pitt in "Troy"

-- Ditto, Tom Welling in Smallville

-- Patrick Warburton massaging Richard Lewis's shoulders in an episode of "Anything but Love," a short-lived sitcom starring Lewis and Jamie Lee Curtis (circa 1989)

And long, long ago (early 80s?) there was some beer commercial (Bud Lite) with this really redneck guy with huge arms standing in front of this cute little skinny guy. Skinny guy had his back against the wall, big guy was leaning his (huge) arm against the wall, looking like he was about to stick his other hand down the guys pants. WOOF!

xoxox

I don't know if this really counts as such

but apart from He-Man there's been very little muscle on British screens, so the example I'd like to quote comes from the millennium in Ecuador (I think).

I'm not sure what the purpose was but I think the 1999 Mr. Ecuador bodybuilding winner was chained between two posts (one with 20 and the other 00) and at the stroke of midnight he pulled them together to form 2000.

OMG Dave use to show off his muscles in the ads in the comics that I would beat off to and then I saw that movie. Damn, that part at the end when he's all wet taking his shirt off and he looked like he was going to give Curtis a beating. Definitely hot!

Yup that's it. Dave Drapper was definitely one of my ideals growing up. Here's one of the ad picture from the same site.

To a young impressionable lad, that image was hot! Blond hair, beach, flexing muscles and a huge chest!

Paul's shirtless scenes are among my new favorites, too! Don't forget Dave Draper on "The Beverly Hillbillies" episode 176, entitled "Mr. Universe Muscles In." And Denny Miller on "Gilligan's Island" - "Big Man on a Little Stick" I believe - the episode on "Friend's" where Phoebe is dating two hunks at once, episodes of "Caroline in the City" when Caroline dated the fireman, plus the actor who played Dell was fairly well built, too. Oh, the memories are just flooding back now - thank God for DVDs....

As a kid, I was home one day from school, and a local tv talk show had Boyer Coe on as a guest. I'd seen his pics in magazines, but on the set of the tv show, in his skin tight shirt, he looked huge. The show was hosted by a man and a woman, and they eventually asked him to show them his muscle, so he pulled his shirt off over his head. His torso literally seemed to Expand as he stripped it off. He was massive and ripped, and looked even more so on the set of this local show. The hosts were both visibly stunned, as he hit pose after pose, in a magnificent display of muscular superiority. He did a side chest shot that I remember to this day; he heaved his chest out, his pecs swelled up like balloons, and he contracted his abs dramatically, highlighting the astounding ratio between his upper torso and his tight waistline.
I always loved catching something like that completely out of the blue. That kind of thing sticks with me long time!

The "Jenny Jones Show" used to do a lot of specials in which former geeks from highschool would confront former bullies and show off how hot they had become in the years since. Though the majority of guests were usually women, there would always be at least one male former geek who had since become a buff stud. As he walked onto stage there would always be a lot of flexing and shirt ripping. Really hot.

Smile Great replies!

Some fantastic memories there!

Here's another....

Goldberg (former WCW/WWE wrestler) ripping his flak jacket off to reveal his awesome chest muscles in 'Universal Soldier 2'. Then going on to destroy three other guys!

The Incredible Hulk when Lou Ferrigno would burst out of his shirt and growl. I always had to get up and go... well, do the math.

The Steve Reeves Hercules movies: Hercules and Hercules Unchained. Btw, those were the only two Hercules movies he made.

There was an Eartha Kitt special years ago when she came on stage riding on the shoulder of a gorgeous bodybuilder.

The scene in Star Trek: Amok Time when the Vulcan matriarch T'Pau is carried on a sedan chair by her muscular Vulcan bodyguards. How do you say "oh woof!" in Vulcan?

in the first Scooby-Doo movie a couple years ago, some of the guys in the cave during the whole sacrifice scene.. I don't know what they were, guards or whatever, with the painted faces... a couple of those guys were beastly huge. sucks that they were mostly just extras and that there weren't any names to go with them to find out who they are. there was also the masked wrestler, but for me the other guys had the real mass.

It's hard to decide but Lou Ferrigno.....

He was in a TV series years ago called Trauma Center (yea it was crap and got cancelled really fast thats why you never heard of it) in 1983 and on this one episode he was the ambulance driver and he got to an accident were someone had been thrown from the car and then it landed on his legs and Lou picked the car up so the paramedics could pull him out. I know it was TV but they must have made it kinda heavy because his arms were Bulging out of the sleaves on his short sleaved shirt.

mtv's the grind had some hot muscleguys.

jenny jones had an episode of strippers. the hottest male was a guy who was completely and convincingly dorked up. he got laughed at by the audience & jenny and started his routine. the laughter turned to true adulation as he revealed his true awesome self. friggin incredible. it'd be cool if someone had a clip of that!

ricki lake's umpteenth male muscle contests

univision (miami-based spanish channel) has a long running talk/entertainment show, cristina. she used to routinely feature bomberos or firefighters and their calendars. increible!

any performance of latino dance troupe "solo para mujeres". features numerous latino actors/models/dancers who strut while stripping. especially hot when doing the police uniform routines. often on univision and telemundo network shows.

the old richard bey show and its other incarnations on jersey channel wwor featured many male muscle contests.

univision's "no manches" show featured male strippers for 20 to 30 minutes a pop every week for a few months, right at the start of the show airing saturday afternoon. some were professional level to truly comic and amateur. sadly, it appears to have moved to other features as of late.

mtv's spring break has always had a bevy of hot muscleguys.

any showing of australian rules football, rodeo and timbersports always has multiple strapping, hypermasculine guys. the steer wrestlers are insane!

old eppies of chips, dukes of hazzard and simon & simon would often have well-built dudes.

telefutura (yes, another spanish-language network) has a show still running "aprieta y gana" which features an incredibly well-built host, winston vallenilla. it airs sunday at noon and repeats at 1:30 am monday morning. the show is a war-of-the-sexes contest and often has hunkalicious celebrity male contestants and dancers/refs/helpers.

american gladiators/battledome/rollerjam/sports entertainment wrestling - cheesy but beefy!

real pro wrestling on pax-tv; college wrestling on espn

scholastic sports america on espn often had high-school footballers w/great physiques.

american muscle on espn and musclesport usa on prime ticket/fox sports - both have since gone to the tv grave, sadly.

i watch aprieta y gana just for that host seeing how my spanish is so bad. he is a curl jockey though, but it's all good when he dresses up in some revealing costume, or just goes shirtless

Hey I never watched the new hulk movie. Is it worth looking from a muscle-lover-point-of-view? I mean, do you see his muscles in ation?

I'd love catching Jenny Jones, or Rikki Lake, or whoever, when they featured a former skinny geek surprising a lady who dumped him years ago by revealing that he is now a hot muscle guy. Now that's what it is all about!

I Still say that they get the sexiest slabs of manflesh for the Jaffa on Stargate SG-1... some are small (usually the important ones) but most are Teal'c's size or bigger *drool*
