Lower Quads advice Hey, guys? Are there specific exercises that are particularly effective for developing the lower quads -- the area that can actually be seen while wearing shorts? Do I just work them all over and hope that some of the upper leg development falls to cover the lower half (kind of like a muscle comb-over)? |

Actually, Brent's right for overall quad development but, for me, my lower quads really kicked in with leg extensions vs squats...and go for that extra SQUEEZE at the top, varying the way you point your toes (in vs out). |

Leg Extensions! For the lower leg, Leg Extensions work best. Don't start out heavy but always squeeze em at the top. Do a lot of pyramiding (starting light, go heavy for fewer reps, and then back down burning the muscle). Best of luck. dave |
