Bodybuilder on Jerry Springer show Hey guys... not a frequent TV viewer, but was home recuperating from a minor gym injury and saw an episode of the Jerry Springer show that featured a 290 lb bodybuilder who was having marital problems. It was an old episode. Was wondering if anyone has any info or screen captures. Thanks. |

I have this pic which may be the same show. I'm not sure where I got it from. |

Nice! I wish he had more reruns like that. I don't think we'll see anything on his new show. __________________ God is in the rain. |

I think I know which episode you're talking about. I actually went to see the Jerry Springer show back in December in Chicago, and before the show starts, they showed all these clips from his payperview Too Hot for TV special. One of the scenes featured this HUGE guy. When he went to go beat up the guy his wife was cheating with, he couldn't really punch him because his biceps were so big, so he'd just LUNGE at him. There was another muscleguy too, and the guy who was cheating on his wife blamed the muscleguy for it because he was too busy getting juiced and pumping iron, so the muscleman subsequently went to go beat the SHIT out of that guy....No screencaps though sorry |

That's the one! Thanks for the replies. Musclemike85 that is the episode I saw as well. Was curious as to whether it was staged or real. Hopefully someone has a screen capture or more info. |

One more request Hey guys... bumping this back up to see if anyone else has a screen capture of the guy from this show? It wasn't Craig Titus. |

Muscle on Springer I remember watching this one episode where this bitch was talking about how she cheated on her husband because he used to go to the gym "too much" and he held down two jobs so she could be treated like a fucking queen. So, she found some out of work bum-neighbor and started getting fucked by him. The guy was a total skinny, tatooed, long haired loser! Then, they took him off stage and brought out the hard-working, bodybuilding husband who appeared to be totally unprepared for why he was even there. You could tell he truly loved her. He was fucking BUILT. Then, quickly, like stabbing him with a knife, she told him. He was shocked, humiliated and kept saying, "I did it for you!" But the real pain came when they brought the loser back out. Holy fuck. The guy was just livid! But he acted with a lot of class and dumped the bitch; told her he wanted her out of the house ASAP. She realized she fucked up because when she wanted to move in with the new BF, he looked at her like she was crazy! "Woman, you got no money anymore!" It had to be one of the best shows ever. |

just goes to show... the grass is almost never greener. Sometimes people do things like that to try to communicate to their partner that they'd rather have them home to spend time with than out making money for them... and hope that it convinces them to come back home. It's too bad she couldn't just tell him that - in person - to his face. Sounds like he was a great guy with a lot of love to give.... that's so sad.... that poor guy. |

Hate to burst the bubble..... ...but jerry springer is staged.Scripted.Out-of-work actors&wanna-be wrestlers.&the answer to the question,"why do they hate us?" |
| |||
eh - I plea ignorance... I've never actually once watched the show. LOL thanks for the clarification glam! |

Staged or not... Still, it was GREAT entertainment. Watching a well BUILT man telling some free-loading woman to hit the pavement and then watching her get rejected from a sleezebag boyfriend, whether it was staged or not (hehehe, probably was) it was still hot to see. The bodybuilder was gorgeous, handsome, and...did I mention he was BUILT? |

A girl who handeled casting for springer ...used to come into my restaurant all the time with her boyfriend.One day,she was short a couple for"older women who pay for younger men".They're the same age&he makes WAY more money than she does!But they filled in,anyway.It's very important that these shows be controlled,to avoid lawsuits.You just can't get caught. |

Well, all I know is from the newspapers where they also have to be careful what they print. I'm mostly repeating what I read years ago. __________________ God is in the rain. |

Haha, so sad I know so much about this show. Guess its a guilty pleasure... Anyway, my roomies and I went to go see the show filming. And I think while at one point it may have been real, its all staged now. There's definitely "plants" in the audience, a guy on the side of the stage lets you know what to chant, when to chant and for how long you chant, and during the breaks, the producers try to rile up the "guests" to be more nasty and fight more. I've heard rumors that the guests are really theatre students from Colubmia/Northwestern/Loyola, but I doubt it. |
