Autumn 2011

So next week I'm starting to do some bulking throughout the fall...
...looking to gain some more size and then cut down in the spring. I'm hoping to compete next year around 170.

Thanks - for sure!
I'm working for about 20 pounds in the next while. I want to do as lean a bulk as possible so I don't have too much fat to cut. I was a bodybuilding-lean 160 last spring so I'll be working from that peak.

I'm eating big right now, and hitting the gym hard...
Even after just a few days I can feel some changes. I'm feeling bigger and looking fuller.
Getting enough food down is hard at the time, but then I'm finding I'm starved an hour later.

What are your stats currently? It doesn't look like your profile info has been updated in awhile since it references possibly competing in 2009/10. What's your training regimen in the offseason and what kind of supplementing are you doing? Best wishes for continued success.

Went from 188 to 191 last week... weigh in again tomorrow...
Looking to bulk to about 220-230 this fall, and more in the spring.

Hey amazing gains! i think you will be competing at 190 instead of 170 by the rate of your growth! love to hear more detail on your transformation to a competitive bodybuilder ....really hot

Thanks! Competing in the 190s would be a great look. I've dieted to 160 before from being bulked to around 195.
Definitely growing fast and its pretty lean. I want to hit the 200s next week.
8 more weeks on, then 4 off; then on for another 10, then repeat... should add about 20 pounds each time...

Thanks.......I'm thinking of measuring week 4, but before that focusing on weight and 'look'. Clothes are fitting pretty weird; jeans just don't fit over legs...shirts are tighter and really snug over the chest; arms are tight in sleaves which feels great.

I can't wait for shirts not to fit! ...probably another couple of weaks - most of my shirts have a slight amount of streach in the fabric, which is letting them be really snug as I'm growing bigger......it'll be great when that just can't accomodate any more.
The jeans are a lost cause. I have a naturally small waist compared to quads, and getting them on just isn't going to happen.

Hey - Thank You! Its going well; good workouts through this week and off tomorrow for a rest day. Sunday back in the gym, and a big Thanksgiving Dinner!
Only one or two guys at the gym know what I'm doing, so its pretty stealth. I've had 4 comments from friends this week saying "um...you're getting bigger...".
My boyfriend probably suspects stuff, but we have not discussed it.
Hopefully I'll be another three pounds up this coming week, which will bring it to almost ten pounds total!

So there's my family dinner tonight for Thanksgiving Day...
I had a great workout at the gym today and I'm pretty much planning on eating everything in sight at dinner. This will also probably be the last time my family sees me looking 'small' since by Christmas I will have grown 30 pounds bigger, or more.
As it is, tonight I have to look through the closet to see what is going to fit, which is getting to be a challenge!

Yes, winter is a good time to remain slightly hidden while bulking......it can make spring quite, dramatic...
By Christmas I should be about 30 pounds bigger, which will be noticed.
Yesterday I got up to 198, which means by next week I will be over 200. I actually weighed myself at 200 on Monday, but think I was holding water.

This week I'm 201+, which is the biggest I've ever been...
Growth is about three pounds each week. Starting to look 'bigger' and there have been some comments from people that are great for motivation!
Strength is increasing too.

Going well! Up to 205 which is great. I lost a few pounds traveling, but they are gained back...
...when I hit 208 I'll officially be up 20 pounds. Definitely looking pretty big right now which is great.
I've had to get a few new clothes since stuff I've had for a while fits pretty strangely now, or not at all. I'm loving days when I can lounge around and just wear big workout wear.
