Chest workout Hey fellas, I've been lifting for about four years now and have gained a good amount of mass. My question though, is how do I go about getting that crack between my pecs? It seems my chest has just gotten thicker and more muscular, but not well-defined. Any suggestions? |

Bad news.... ...deep cleavage is mainly a genetic trait.Close grips, etc.will help if the natural tendency is there.Otherwise.... |

Sometimes cutting will also help bring out the individual pecs but genetics does have a lot to do with how they will eventually look. |

I find that the pec-deck works for me. __________________ God is in the rain. |

Cleavage So you wanna build cleavage, eh? Answer: Dumbbell flyes, wide and deep. Try different angles. start out light and then go as heavy as you can. |

With all this advice, you'll need to go to Victoria's Secrete for a fitting... Switch from using a barbell on benchpress, to dumbells. __________________ God is in the rain. |

My take on achieving better pec cleavage involved doing cable crossover,s but making sure that you cross your arms at the forerm level, not just crossing hands or bringing the hands togther. This ensures a much tighter contraction, or squeeze, on the cleavage. Also, I found that really concentrating on squeezing the pecs themselves during your benching and flies can help you gain a little edge, especially at the top, i.e. contraction part of the rep. Squeeze the shit out of the bar as well. I tell my partner to imagine he's wringing water out of a sponge, and each subsequent squeeze needs to be more intense than the previous. Your pecs will be fried. As mentioned previously, cutting will also make that line more sharply defined. I've been leaning lately, and even though my chest is less round and full than previously, the lines around them are much more etched, and when I do have a pump on, they're actually more impressive. Don't be afraid to experiment with new exercises in the gym either. What works for one may not work for someone else. I know I've mentioned this before, but years of barbell benching and incline benching did nothing for my pecs (nor my tris or shoulders either), but the day I started doing Smith Press low-incline benches, my pecs took off like wildfire. I'm finding I actually need to undertrain pecs now because they've overwhelmed my delts and arms, and heavy benching just exacerbates the problem. __________________ What's wrong with wanting more? i added flys and close grips to my workout about 6 weeks ago it helped me get my bench past a sticking point and i've seen a noticeable diffrence now if the preacher curls ,21's and hammer curls would finally do the same for my upper arms my arms are thicker no doubt but not much of a peak just started to see a decent peek starting just before i got hammered with my cold so i'm eager to get back to my routine i went food shopping today so i'm ready not a big eater but when i'm lifting i end up eating about every 3 hours which reminds me only thing i forgot was the peanut butter have to get some more |
