Layne Norton's PHAT Training

Finally got back to gym after the holiday layoff and saw a friend of mine lifting some SERIOUS iron, way more than he had been lifting before. He said he was on Norton's PHAT training plan and his strength had just exploded. He looked a bit bigger, too. He gave me the link and I'm going to try it for a while.

Has anyone here tried it or know about it?

I will probably give it a try but I'm not sure if I could regularly go to the gym 5 times a week (& my job is really time demanding as well...) Anyone else want to try the routine?

Just got back from the gym, finishing the last workout in the program.
I've now been on it for two weeks and I like it. I've been really sore, but the weights are already going up.

Who'd have thought that changing around reps and sets within one workout like that would make a such a difference? Today I was finishing up doing cable kickbacks, but two sets of 15-20 reps. My arms were shaking by rep 13 and my tri's were fried after just two sets.

Can't wait to see how it goes in the next few months.

i wouldnt trust anything this man has to say considering the poor examples he has set in the past. The NGA federation is a very small bodybuilding federation with coverage of a few small states. The INBF which is one of the largest natural organizations if not the largest doesnt eve reconize the NGA titles. Point being do research over a few sites and and information written by various people. Putting a lot of scientific words in doesnt make you a good trainer and a degree doesnt make you gym smart either. Doing your own research is the best.
