Help support the board

Ok, Since the board's owner won't ask (he's too soft on you guys anyway) I will.

If you've read his previous thread, you'll notice that we boys have been consuming a ton of his bandwidth. We all love seeing and posting muscle photos and that takes quite a bit of bandwidth. I've talked to him about options to reduce the bandwidth drain, but the honest fact is that we're getting a great service at his expense. So why not chip in and help?

I'm not saying send $$$$ of dollars to Flexodus (though if you do I'm sure he would appreciate it) but even $1 helps.

Now, Flexodus did have a paypal donation button a while back, but that has since disappeared. But for those that are interested in supporting this board, PM Flexodus on how to send your small contribution. It's fairly painless and as much enjoyment that this board brings it's worth $1 or 2 to offset some costs, don't you think?

Just my two cents.

I'll have to wait a few weeks for my credit card to clear, but I'm sure I can find a few pounds to spare (I'm determined no-one will ever get a dollar out of me! hehe).

Come on guys, look at the number of people on the members list, even if we all just chip in a pound we could make alot!

Sure, I'm in. We all get a lot out of this site and it's a virtual family (complete with bickering brothers) and being able to put a little something back into it would be quite a privilege.

It is both refreshing and rewarding to know that we can give back a small bit of what's been given to us, in any capacity or situation.

For the inspiration and the enjoyment that the forum has to offer, a small donation is the least I can do.

I don't have a lot, but I know I could spare a few bucks. This board has a great community, and that's worth supaorting. I also wouldn't mind a few ads, especually on pic heavy threads. Flex is a great guy to have set this whole thing up for us, and asked for nothing in return.

Has there been any word from Flex yet on helping to defray his expenses?

If so, I haven't seen it--just point the way. If not, I and many others seem to be eager to help, so please let us know.

I've heard that Google is starting a competitor service to Paypal. That might be better, especially since Paypal has had a LOT of security issues, and they seem unmotivated to fix them.

I've finally set-up PayPal donation links which are accessible throughout the site. Feel free to contribute whatever you can -- with the site growing in membership and popularity (and with much increased traffic), the site is costing more to maintain and operate. My goal is and always has been to keep this site free to access, but any money given to help offset operating fees are always greatly appreciated!!

Here's to more growth!

p.s. Posted attachments throughout the forum are still unavailable for viewing -- i'm waiting for the server move/upgrade to be complete before I'm able to restore that function. Thanks for your patience.
