Those are not shabby numbers! Don't worry about the bench workout. There are days when you can't get anywhere near your previous workouts, and days you advance. It happens all the time.

I - too - struggle massively with Bench. Just when I think I'm going up - sometimes I end up taking a 10-15lb step back down for 2-3 weeks before I get back up again.

There is seemingly no explanation other than - I wasn't actually ready for that weight other than having a singular very good day.

Just keep pushing hard - you'll get it. Bench is a difficult movement for anyone over 6'2" or so... you're not alone.

incidentally - those are GREAT bicep numbers! Good work!!

Great pictures too!! Those arms look quite a bit bigger than mine - are you sure about that cold/flex measurement?!

nice.

things are starting to finally calm down at work hopefully now i can get back on my normal shedule after a nightmare week of sales with not enough staff i ended up having to work 12 hours on monday and ended up spending my day off resting my feet
before going back wensday last night i finally got out at a more normal time i didn't miss more then one workout this past week but the ones i had didn't go as well as i hoped still struggling with bench while all my other lifts seem to be climing
my diet hasn't been up to par with everything going on at work i had a hard time keeping up my food intake as a result i lost about 5 lbs think next time i bench i'll lower the weight a bit so i can get more reps see if that helps i already i have dropped over 40lbs off what i was doing full reps with a month ago bt not sure what else to do

much better i think

been sleeping more and eating a bit more like yesterday i ate a whole 12 "grilled chicken grinder never done that before but it seems to be helping

military press
135 x 7
145 x 4
150 x 2
135 x 4

upright rows
135x 10
145 x10
155 x 8

bent over rows
185 x 8
195 x 5
185 x 7

bench
185 x 6
175 x 7
155 x 10

my weight keeps jumping between 145-150 depending on the day in the week
but i'm getting stronger and my bf is down i think my biceps are finally getting a decent peak but the measure just over 16" now which is odd since i'm curling about 15-20lbs more since they were 16.5

on a side note the money i been saving for my bday think i may have to finally go clothes shopping my sneakers are dead all my pants don't fit right i don't have enough shirts that fit not to mention all my shirt are taking a beating at work
and one other thing someone at work well actaully 2 guys there suggested i join the **** lodge that they would sponser me i'm not into drinking but this lodge has a fullsize 24 hour gym in the back all the members have key cards while its a temping thought it on my street not sure this whould be a very safe idea been getting alot of complement at work and such lately so i think i'm doing well but this i'd really have to think about

ez bar tri extentions
100 x 12
110 x 8
115 x 6

ez bar rev forearm curls

110 x 7
100 x 10
100 x 10

time about 40 mins
all my sets are going up except bench still not so hot

just keep eating hard and lifting hard with an emphasis on protein. Everyone's body goes through weight cycles to some degree and particularly in the summertime we're prone to lose some fat.

Keep up the hard work and while you may plateau occasionally on one part or another - if you push through - it'll always pick back up.

oddly and in stark contrast..... I went to the dr's office with my wife yesterday for one of her pregnancy checkups and I checked myself on their high-tech digital scale while we were waiting...

I'm up to 260!!

and yet - my waist has not increased... so I must be doing ok.

wow gry!! abs?! I wish I could say that. I'm still hovering right about 19% I'm sure... not too fat... but no where even remotely close to "ab" territory.

before mid may i used to work out about 2 hours twice a week and about an hour into really drag i broke up my workout into 2 diffrent ones have more energry to work harder in shorter workout sleeping better and made better gain in the past
i felt like i was in a 2 year sticky point then i wasn't able to workout during the winter and ever summer became i mad dash to regain what i had in the past fall like i said before i made good gains everywhere except my bench i had something similer to a bowflex for safety in 99 a power bench or what they call a slide bench before i got my olympic one i broke the thing i was just started to bench over 300
on it when i came up with the idea which i though was good at the time to put the arm up alittle put 400lbs on the rack lie on the bench and use my feet on the bar which worked great for my legs till the whole rack arm part went crunch
