My Jocking Diary Hello guys! I don't really know how to start this. I have come to a realisation. There is this incredible desire within me and I will not suppress it anymore like I have done before. I hope that you guys on here will understand my cravings and my aspirations and I hope to find some real support here. So here we go: Some of you might be familiar with the concept of so-called 'jocking'. I've read a few stories about it on here. The basic principle is that a scrawny, intelligent, maybe nerdy guy leaves behind his old nerdy self and starts becoming a bodybuilding-obsessed jock. All that's in his mind is muscle. Now, to be quite honest with you, the mere thought of this has always aroused me. But that's not enough for me anymore. I want to undertake that transformation myself! I am currently 23 years old, university student. I've grown up as a really sheltered and carefree child, all my life I've been this slim artsy sort of guy. But around the time I hit puberty I realised I had a thing for muscle. I loved seeing muscular guys on television and - of course even more - in real life. I envied the beefy, ripped guys in high school and wanted to be like them. The older I grew the stronger this obsession got. I started reading a lot about bodybuilding, nutrition, fitness modeling etc and the desire to be like that has become almost unbearable. I've never had friends who shared this fascination so I've always kept it to myself. But now I have decided to give in to it. Two weeks ago I started working out seriously and as I am typing this I'm gulping down my first protein shake. I am planning on using this thread as a kind of diary on my journey to become a jock and I hope to get a lot of encouragement from you guys. I want to lift heavy weights, I want to pump up my muscles like a freak, bulging traps, chest, arms, wide back, eightpack washboard abs, massive and ripped and I would like to see you motivate me on the way! We'll enjoy watching your progress! Do us a favor (or two): (1) Record your current stats (at least height and weight.) (2) Take a few "at the beginning pix" (even if you don't post them); front, sides, and (if you can) back. That way a year for now we can look back and go WOW! Thanks again! xoxo richard |

I pumped my biceps to the max today and also worked on my lats, they're probably my weakest part at the moment. I really wanna go for a massive V-shape! I think I'm gonna wear a sleeveless shirt to work tomorrow! Also, I'm watching my diet strictly which is probably the hardest part for me! |

Okay guys, I'm having trouble walking cause I worked out legs today. They're probably my best bodypart so no chicken legs here! Damn those weighted lunges and wall squats burn - but real jocks endure the pain and focus on their gains, right?! 2nd muscle group was shoulders (front raises and shoulder press). I love it when they're pumped! My supps atm are whey protein shakes and whegg amino tablets - any other recommendations? |

I think it is very good, to finally follow your dream. i too look foreward to your results. why dont you use bodyspace on bodybuilding . com too? it has many tools to set goals and safe progressstats or pictures. dont get off track in times, when it is getting hard to keep track. you will see, you?ll be doing fine after the bad times. and now go pumping |

Explode with MASS! Keep going man! Make sure to eat plenty, especially lots of protein, and if you get to a sticking point (growth stops happening) switch your routine around- lots of good advice on bodybuilding.com about that. Can't wait for the post you'll be making about how you've turned into a huge muscle hulk. |

I think your goal is fantastic! It sounds like you are already making some good progress. I bet you can't wait for your family, friends, and coworkers to notice your transformation. |

I was on vacation last week and couldn't really work out, but now I'm back. Gonna hit it hard with proteins, whegg and creatine now! I work every muscle group twice a week (don't worry, I make sure I don't overtrain) with one rest day. My neck, traps and shoulders have made a lot of progress already and my biceps is getting bigger as well. I need to focus on the pecs, cause I want them MUCH bigger. |

best of luck to you, though you will have to go into some more details if you want better replies. definitely need stats, and more about the routine. almost sounds like a push/pull split, but i'm not sure? keep up the work though! __________________ Grow big. Grow strong. Grow hard. |
