New & looking for a workout Partner Hello All, This is my first post (I've lurked around for a little bit.) First I want to thank you all for such great stories. The fiction is great, but I'm actually talking about the posts and stories you've all shared from your lives. It's incredibly inspiring to read about where you've all come from, and how you've gotten there. Having just ended Gay pride weekend here in NYC, I can tell you that I've yet to reach a point where I can feel comfortable taking my shirt off anywhere but my own home! LOL. I've made some gains in the past year, but none where I notice, I'm afraid. I'm also posting to see if anyone in the city may be looking for a workout partner. I have a trainer currently but my sessions run out in about 5 weeks and I was thinking I'd like to train on my own for a little bit. I am at the Syngery down in the Village, but could train at any one of them. It would be nice to have a friend to go to the gym with and work with,a s most of my friends aren't exactly anti-gym, but they find it far less enjoyable than I do. I could really use someone to help build my bench press and squat. In anycase: Thank you all again for the stories and long-distance encouragement. I'm not sure if many of you know that you encorage those of us across the world in our quest for health and muscle. |
