Question Where're the pics?

Ok, so I might not have been online for ages (once again...I'm soooo bad) (the same can be said for attending the gym, i have gone once a month for 3 months and im disgusted with myself, not to mention BROKE!) ...but i wanna know something - Where have all the pics gone???

If I'm not going mental, can someone tell me where it went? -there was a whole section on the homepage 'your pics' or summat? why have they taken this away?? ;-( boo.
Maybe they upgraded everyones membership and I am not fully fledged as it were...i have noticed too that some images on some ppl's posts are not showing up either? Whats happened (to me) ?!
hope everyones doing ok

(Hand in the air) I'll save the moderators the trouble and handle this myself...

This has been dealt with a few times before, here's the Reader's Digest version:
Pics take bandwith which costs $$$...site is being upgraded...donations helpful...
hopefully pics back soon....sticky at the top of every forum. No conspiracy theories.

There were never any pictures here. It was all an illusion generated by a combination of high libido and good writing and too much time alone.

I know this is confusing. Even I thought I had submitted images to this site but as I think back on it I don't think I could have, I'm not an artist.

Which century?

However, it's the 21st century! And, you have a 21st Century handle (LG2005).

Meanwhile, of course, I too have no idea what "Phoenix down" means. With any luck, someone will enlighten us.

Phoenix > Mythical bird that would die and be reborn from it's ashes.

Modern day usage> Within a sect of gaming (Role playing, etc) A term like Phoenix down will usually represent "reviving" a character from death. In this instance where Ogun kills LG2005, he later utilizes Pheonix down to revive a "dead" character.

Oddball humor, yes. Esp. for a muscle forum. That would be like me making a comment about ionic bonding in a forum about Digging wells... not exactly something you'd come across in the profession of well digging.. though I'd assume that several people are RPGers (Console/Board/Card), so not everyone was lost to the terminology...

Scott.. who still needs to post today's workout in the Watch Me grow Forum... hehe..

I was lamenting that I don't speak 21st century English, I'm still appreciating the more than a half century of my experience with 20th century English. This is not to imply that 21st century English is (or will be) better. Language is a fundamental means of communication but when the meaning of words and phrases are not mutually understood then no communication takes place. Idiomatic expressions are only useful in limited circles of people with common experience.

If "Phoenix down" is something we could all enjoy, then somebody please explain.

Oh..., OK

Never followed computer games. I had my chance in 1972. Friend of mine in college wanted me to come in with him and help develop games for computers. I remember distinctly saying "Games? There isn't any future in games on computers..." However, I did eventually play all of the Myst series and a couple of other "adventure" (thinking man's) games but most of that game hoopla thankfully went totally by me, I didn't miss it a bit and the world kept on turning.

Hmmm

haha! I laughed so much at all your replies- brilliant, I love it when a post goes totally off mark and ends up in bitchy rants!
anyways boo ;-( hoo about pics, its a shame but i understand the restraints cost wise- oh well, maybe i should set up a site myself? would anyone be interested at posting pics on that? especially love 'before and after pics'
Anyays, DID actually end up going to the gym last night and completely caned it...I am so sore now!! funny pain in me back which hurts when i breathe in. probably strained something, silly me. I always go at it mad when i havent been for ages, i know its bad but i feel so guilty!
Off to a wedding sat night, Im driving back though so no free booze for me! ;-( boo again. Im hoping my shirt is going to look better with my new(ish) improved(ish) pecs....its what i'm focusing on at the mo! really want to get them sorted. still got a freking gut to get rid of but i'm hoping that'll just drop off in time.
Also (i know im dragging on now) but im looking to buy some weights for at home as i dont own any...anyone got any advice on good (but reasonably priced) gear? just looking for a small set as now I've got my flat (which im still bloody decorating and not actually living in at the mo) and i wanna have something that i can use when i cant get to the gym (has to be avail. in the UK obv.!)

Ta chickens!

Waiting for the pics

Really miss the pics. I love Atomic Muscle. He was brilliant. I wait in hope that the server & bandwitdh issues are resolved and that the illustrations return.
Then I'll be a happy chappy.
