He's about 5'11" or so, and would be around 30 years old at this point. I don't know his weight in that video.

He competed in a few contests in Canada, and was featured in Muscle Mag International as an amazing teenager. His 19-inch arm workout was impressive!

I understand that now he's in adult entertainment, so he doesn't compete any more.

It's a shame, both that he doesn't compete and that current 'winning standards' for bbing competitions would not allow him to win. In order to win anything today, he'd have to bulk up to the size of a Coleman or a Cutler, and his great waist - chest taper would just disappear.

Perhaps changing public tastes and judging standards (HA! Oxymoron -- like 'jumbo shrimp' or 'naval intelligence') would allow the guys with the impressive proportions and shape to place higher in contests, instead of these 'beef-aloes' that seem to be all the rage.

Doubt it, but one can hope.......

He could easily bulk up to 300 lbs. and keep the same definiton, he could easily be a monster like Culter and Coleman. But I do love his works.

He did try and compete ayear or so ago at the Night of Champions but never went the night show..He's happy doing gay porn and crushin beer cans on his biceps on his webcam..Guess if its paying the bills its cool..

I do wonder if the fact that Bruce Patterson does his own thing with videos and cam stuff and acknowledges/feeds off the gay muscle worship thing would mean that whatever shape he was in the "powers that be" would never give him a placing in a contest...You very rarely see guys do well at either muscle worship stuff or on contests - perhaps Rusty Jeffers is an exception although never known how high he ever placed.

The whole disconnect between the worship videos and the contest results is real. I think that the show leaders "punish" athletes who get out of line by adjusting the rankings accordingly. The judging is so subjective, that it's hard to state with any certainty what the real criteria are for winning a contest.

Sounds like a guy either makes it as a competitor, spending lots of money on drugs and supps and food for, at most, the prize money at the Olympia or the Arnold,....OR

he becomes enterprising, like ol' Bruce here.



And people wonder why bodybuilding seems to be losing audience appeal!

I really believe Bruce is a real-life muscle morph. I mean, the man is freakin' huge, with a thick, solid power-packed physique. While generally I leave my "ginormous" fantasies for artwork, Mr. Patterson's monster size just pushes my buttons.

I think the powers that be always want to keep tight rein on the sport's presentation. In the UK the contests I have been to have been hugely constrained by a psuedo "this is a really serious sport" with officials in jackets and league ties and a slow measured tone to the event (which then can feel like watching paint dry). Yet the audience only gets animated when they give in a little and go for the freaky, see muscle up close, playing to a crowd etc type behaviour.

I think the spoils available to people in this sport are so miniscule officially that I think most half decent guys who are big like Bruce have realised there is a market out there that with the help of the net you can tap into and own the revenue. You make a hell of alot more than if you are just being a model for someone else's site. Also in that case people can choose how far they go. I actually think Bruce could make as much by keeping a jock on because he is not "huge down there" but that is his choice.

What can I say, Bruce is a true muscle monster! I am still blown away by his size- that tree trunk neck of his. I have daydreamed about those huge muscles especially the ones of him sleeping on a bed and the shower where he can barely reach to scrub himself!- phew!-
