Hulkout: The Chemical Reaction

You are an inventor and you have developed some very important treatments for a lot of sick people. You have even been nominated for some major medical awards, even though you never won any, you are known for having a brilliant mind. Despite your expertise in the medical field, deep down you have a longing for another kind of achievement. Your interest in muscle growth has led you to start work on a new chemical designed to turn weaklings into crazy huge studs.

You have always had great sponsors for your medical work, but many have decided to pass on this project of yours. You have had to dig into your monetary winnings from your past donations from your success stories. You don't use lab mice, but rather small cats because you have saved them from being put down at your local pounds. You have less difficulty dealing with cats and can see their development a little better. The chemical you are developing is a blue powder than can be ingested using a spoon. With the cats though, it isn't as easy to get it in so you mix it in with their canned food.

For this chemical, you went searching for hairless cats that are a little malnourished. You found one and brought it to the lab. Lucky for you it was a male. You sprinkled a little bit of the powder into the cat food and fed it to the cat. The hungry cat gobbled down the food and didn't even notice the chemical included. You don't expect an immediate reaction so you leave the cat alone to sleep it off. You go in the next day and notice that the cat you brought to the lab yesterday has now grown to the point that it is nearly suffocating to death in that little cage. You release it into the lab and it goes straight for the door. You gasp as it plows through the steel door and leaves a huge hole.

Your next step obviously is to find a willing subject. You put out an ad looking for a very skinny man in need of some quick cash and possibly a place to stay also. You got it in a 20 yr old college student who lived fairly close to the lab. He greets you and you are surprised by how skinny he was. The guy admits that he is a runner and that his metabolism is so high that food rarely puts any weight on him. You show him around the lab and point out the chemical which is contained in a bowl on one of your tables. He walks up to it and remarks about the blue color. You say that you had never developed a chemical in that shade and just decided to do so with this one. He takes a little pinch and sticks it on his tongue. You both laugh when you look in the mirror and see his blue tongue.

You also gave the man a place to stay inside the facility. You had his room set up close to where he will be testing the chemical. Instead of him being nervous, the young man was excited because he wanted to experience something unique in his life. You caution him that this could be dangerous, but the man already seems set to begin the project. You give him a spoonful of the chemical and tell him to take it with water. He takes the chemical and puts it into a water bottle then fills up the bottle with water. It mixes pretty well and he drinks the entire bottle. You tell him to go lay down in a chamber and relax.

The man grabs a book and begins to read it. Within about 15 minutes, you notice that the man starts getting very sweaty. He motions for you to come in and monitor his heartbeat. The beats are going so fast that you lose track of them, but you expected a very extreme reaction anyway. You leave him alone, but continue to monitor him. He goes back to reading again and you begin to notice something wild happening to him. The man is a Caucasian, but his skin is beginning to change to an olive color. The shape of his face is getting more round and even his eyes are changing from a green color to a hazel color.

You begin to document his changes and his body is even starting to change. What was once a slender ectomorph type frame is quickly becoming a mesomorph type frame. You can hear his bones literally crack and reform and his back expands really quickly making room for more growth to happen. It eventually stops and he must have gained a good 50 pounds. You decide to give him a bigger dose of the chemical the next day and the results continue to astound. This second time though, the mans personality changes and he begins to get more volatile. He has gotten considerably taller and his body has gotten much wider this time. He threatens to break out of the chamber and kick your butt if you don't give him more.

You manage to save a little bit of the chemical and then give him the rest. This was probably the biggest mistake you could make because the mans growth goes beyond logic. He grows so rapidly that you can now hear the chamber begin to buckle and the mans sheer size will make the metal give way releasing him. You go running into the next room to escape him but you can hear his heavy feet coming right for you. Instead of the man trying to kill you though, he gives you an evil smile and attempts to do something that you may not want to be a part of. What do you think will happen now with the giant man?
