becoming a trainer

So after working out consistently for over 2 years, I decided to use my final elective credits at OU to take a class that will hopefully prepare me to get my NSCA-CPT. I am also doing 4 hours per week of hands-on fieldwork.

My philosophy for doing this is the philosophy that says: Give a man a fish, you can feed him for a day. Teach him to fish, you feed him for life." And to extend the metaphor, If you give him the passion to fish, you can feed a village.

So that's what I'm going to do. Hopefully I'll be QUALIFIED to offer people advice by the end of December!

Also, I think it would be a great way to be able to pay my way through grad school.

So wish me luck!

Best of luck there guy! Education is something that is a more of a process than anything else. Some poeple think that school taught them enough and that they have no reason to go back.. I've found those are usually the ones driving the Coke trucks around down refilling the freezers at gas stations.

Hope that you do well in that pursuit!

Scott

Good Luck

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation. It sounds like you have a great head on your (broad) shoulders Training others will be a great way to share your knowledge and keep the iron in your blood even in the midst of tough grad school classes. Plus, in the "real world", having a good physique to go with a great brain definitely is an advantage. Ask Scott

Anyhow, good luck with your pursuits---I hope your fishing pond is stocked!
