| I guess it's better to live the life you want, than it is to wonder what could have been. I won't take the high road (morally) here, because I have done LOTS of drugs in my past. Just not steriods. I don't know about the scrawny thing, aren't most kids scrawny at 16? Except the ones on steriods of course... __________________ God is in the rain. |

Well, just about ANYONE in contest shape looks gross looking, not because they're bloated but because they're ripped to shreds in ways that aren't achievable by most normal human beings. | I have seen guys (in photos anyway) who have musculature that looks like it is impossible without steroids, and they are beautiful. What I'm saying is that with getting big, this guy in this pic has lost his good looks. Either that or it's a bad pic. Or I just like muscleed guys who have boyish clean cut faces instead of faces that look like they've gone ARRRRRGHGHHHHHHH in the gym too much. ??? |

| Not fair to judge his face by the contest photos. As already pointed out, to get the muscles that ripped, the face always ends-up looking drawn. I agree it is foolish to start roids so young. Teens have so much testosterone and growth hormone in their systems, they should take advantage of that first, before screwing-up their endocrine systems artificially. On the other hand, I know several guys who started at that age, and they haven't had any health problems from it, and they are in their late thirties. But then, maybe they didn't have any genetic predisposition to problems either, and you never know about that until it is too late. What bothers me about a guy starting on roids so young is, what does that say about his character, that he isn't willing to put-in a few years of hard work unassisted by drugs? He hasn't laid a proper foundatin first, and has thereby limited how far he can ultimately go, and for what? A cheap trophy that no one cares about? |
