I weighed in at 221lbs today on the accurate gym scales. I definitely feel bulky at this size. My back is certainly looking wider. At this rate I might be able to hit 230lbs by Christmas. 20" biceps would be a wonderful present to myself.

Should I take pics now, or would that spoil the surprise at 230lbs?

I have now reached 224lbs, or 16 stone for us UK folks. Quite a milestone for me personally. I can definitely feel the extra bulk on my arms and back. My thighs are feeling it after my leg session yesterday.

Congrats on the progress, big guy. I'm guessing that between now and Xmas you'll hit your goal, and the weight will be muscle. Glad to hear you're having good back/biceps workouts. That big back will complement your massive chest. Gonna have trouble finding shirts that fit!

Thanks. Yeah, a bigger back and legs will get me in better proportion with my chest. Plus, of course, I'll be huge! At my current rate, I might even hit 230lbs by the end of November!
I have an image in my mind of me sitting at the Christmas dinner table, looking absolutely huge, with my belly full of turkey and my enormous pecs hanging over my plate.

The scales tell me I'm bigger and I feel bigger, but the tape measure doesn't seem to bear it out, depressingly. To cheer myself up, I tried on some old shirts. It turns out that NOT ONE of my shirts fits me now, not even ones that fit me fine a few weeks ago. I will post a couple of pics tomorrow. Damn tape measure must be stretched.

Thanks. My aim in bodybuilding has always to look as big as possible in my clothes, rather than having a really ripped physique. My bodyfat has increased a bit over the last couple of months, and I need to keep an eye on that because I don't want to get too fat. Although I do feel some desire to go for the huge, fat "muscle bear" body. High bodyfat brings a number of health risks that I don't want to face.

I think I will aim for 240lbs with a bodyfat level of no more than 15% and then take it from there.

Doing well, TH! The lit from below pic really shows your size. At 240 and 15% bf, you'll really show your size, and might be surprised at the definition, too. Keep at it, big man.

Thanks guys. It's week 9 and I now weigh 226lbs. My "extra large" rugby shirt is now too small. I've definitely got bigger around the chest.

There's nothing better than looking and feeling huge, TH you should absolutely do the huge "muscle bear" look, with your already huge pecs sitting above a full, round basketball belly between two huge delts and a super thick back, you would feel and look amazing. When my weight ballooned to 262 over the summer (still at 36 waist, so by no means a fatty) I loved doing chest and seeing my pumped pecs sitting on top of a protein stuffed gut. Hell even now at 252 I love getting pumped and eating big and feeling big do it!

Wow 262lbs with a 36" waist is incredible! I'm not too worried about bodyfat at the moment. I'm aiming for 240lbs now, but I really can't imagine wanting to stop there.

I had a great back/biceps workout today. My biceps are visibly bigger. I haven't measured my arms, but they've got to be virtually 20" now.

After a minor setback over the last couple of weeks, fighting off a cold, I have started to put more weight on again. I'm currently at 228lbs and my goal of 230lbs by Christmas is tantalisingly close.

I just weighed myself at 231lbs. Admittedly that's after a big Christmas dinner, but I'll count it as a victory. Onwards and upwards to 240lbs in the new year!

Thanks, dude.
After a slight glitch over Christmas, I had a great session today. Back & biceps. Broke my best ever on the barbell rowing. Weighed in at 233lbs. I set a new goal on my bodybuilding.com profile of 250lbs by June. :-)

Progress is slow at the moment, for some reason. I'm now 234lbs. However, I measured my chest at 50" and my biceps at 19.25" cold, so probably 19.75" pumped.
I'm concentrating on keeping my squats nice and deep as I gradually increase the weight, and increasing my deadlifts.
And eating more, especially eggs. 250lbs here I come!

I really believe that I can. After my chest and triceps workout today, I did a couple of sets of bicep curls and then measured my arms.

I'VE HIT THE MAGIC 20" MARK!!!!

I'm so excited to be in the 20" club. It's taken years of hard work and now I've done it. When I get to 250lbs hopefully I'll be getting near 21".
