Whats good is that believe it or not, all good muslims are non-muslim haters. It specifically says in the Quran that you are to kill ALL non-belivers (aka The Infidels) So when we killed the Taliban, was that a good thing or a bad thing, in your opinion? |

This has the potential to be a very scarey thread. By that logic... According to some people, good germans should kill jews. According to some people, good christians should kill queers. THERE IS NEVER ANYTHING GOOD ABOUT ONE HUMAN KILLING ANOTHER |

I agree glass bear I despise terrorism - but I don't despise Muslims. However, terrorists who hide behind the shield of a religion should be rooted out and dealt with. Muslims need to understand the definition of a non-believer: not one who does not believe in the prophet and Allah, but one who does not believe in God. Even hard-line Muslim Leaders believe in the parity of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Religion with their own. It is not a big step to go from there to one that accepts everyone, even non-believers, as long as they don't try to destroy the faith and community values of the believers. However, believers must also make a great deal more effort to ensure that their religion and community are not a threat to any one else including non-believers. Any death is sad - and a tragic loss for the world. There is a piece of God in every one of us, even "non-believers" and no one has a right to remove that piece of God from the world before its time. What religious background am I - does it matter? The saddest commentary on the human race is that we have been around in relatively civilized forms for almost 5000 years - and we still understand very little about God and even less about getting along. Signed - an idealist who still believes world peace can happen before the predicted apocalypse. |

My opinion In the middle east the muslims are fired up and fighting. In Africa the muslims are fired up and fighting, in Asia the muslims are fired up and fighting. In Europe there are muslim countries or countries with quite a sizeable muslim population and guess what? They are fired up an figthing. Fighting for survival? Or domination? I've met people of Islam who are gentle and civilised people, modern muslims who I have no doubt could, would and still may take that view back to their home lands to change the view of those few old men and crazed bloodseeking hotblooded cowards who call themselves the warriors of God. |

Thread necromancy of a controversial topic. :/ Move along, guys. |

People can change Like the christians of old and even modern times, people can change - christianity also had a fundementalist period (in some places it still has), but people changed - adapted - saw what was divinely inspired and what was written by men. Why do you think the muslims wont be able to do the same. |

Thread necromancy - this is still the internet. And i gave my two cents worth in spite of it being an old thread. I actually hope it flames up again because people need to talk about this... a lot. |
