meeting a fellow member Hulkmuscle and I couldn't meet up in NYC, but I managed to meet MDLifter today. Ok not only did we meet up, but we worked out together at Gold's! I know he'll read this, but all the things I have to say are good so I'm just gonna lay it all out there. MDLifter is a nice, charming guy and I'm glad he took the time out from his workday to meet me for a workout. He said he hadn't lifted in about 3 weeks but that didn't stop me from making him do an extra set here and there... heh heh. We did shoulders and tris, and we took some measures to make sure he didn't tweak his injured shoulder. At one point, he pulled a sleeve up and flexed his tricep for me - I was floored! A ripped horseshoe popped out. It's obvious he puts work into it. He also wrote everything down in a workout journal, and I was impressed by his diligence. He said the journal helps him figure out what's working and what's not working given the tough schedule (family life, traveling, etc). We had a great workout, so thanks MDLifter. It was good meeting you! |

Back atcha! Wow! You must have beaten me back on-line! Claygrant, I also enjoyed meeting you, and I've gotta say, you are seriously built! Guys, I've never seen calf muscles that were so big they went horizontal straight off the bone! Think Matarazzo-shape, just a bit more human-sized! And your arms! And your traps! Yowza! And you're so polite and modest and strong! {He was lifting almost twice what I was-- and he made it look easy!} VERY NICE GUY! Have a good trip back home! Thanks for the work out! Mdlftr |

Would be a pleasure... I live in Jersey City, just outside NYC, and would love to meet up with any other members who are either in NYC or visiting. If you want to get in a workout, that'd be nice, too. If not, coffee/drinks would be fine, as well. I'm very open to this and would love to extend my circle of muscular friends who are of a similar mindset. Just let me know. -j!- |

That's awesome! If anyone is in the Ohio area or coming here, please let me know. I would be up a for workout anytime. |

LOL....now I feel really bad! MD and I were going to try to get together when I was in DC this fall, but alas....'twas not to be. Hopefully we can manage to get together soon. Incidentally, I will be in South Carolina the first part of next week and in Boston/Quincy from Thursday through Tuesday the 31st. Then after that....it's the big move from Dallas to San Francisco! |

....I paid him to say that! TheMasu is no slouch in the looks and personality department himself! Mdlftr |

I've gotten to meet only WBHunk so far (and I keep telling myself to contact arpeejay since he lives a few miles away from me now). The Hunk in his name is very appropriate, and his dog's a cutie too. We did get to work out together, which was nice as I'm normally all by myself when I lift. How's SF treating you? |
