I decided to start a video sharing site

Since Shadowlord's site went down, I've decided to open up my own site. A lot of the videos are captures I made, some are captures that others made. They can go yell at me if they wish, but I think we're all technically in some FCC violation anyways. So, I may be able to allow anonymous uploads, and I'll be slowly compiling an album. This site isn't fast, don't yell at me, but it is free and ad free, so it's pretty dang good. http://xform.gwgaming.net/cpg141/ .

Is it only me, but it seems hard to download the movies or play them...

Also, is anyone else having problems getting to the site itself?

BTW, they are all encoded in DIVX. I'd use FFDshow for playing them I was you, it works great.

I got yelled at by Dragoniade, so I took it down. I do have many videos that I captured on my own. But honestly, the free hosting is an issue, and the fact is that the free hosts have many restrictions which prevent me actually sharing my personal files. I currently can't afford a pay host. I wonder if anyone on here is willing to work on a solution. I discovered that the Coppermine PHP based gallery a great system. It's all a big hassle, and now that Stonegate and Dragoniade hate my guts for even trying to start another site, I'm not sure if I'm willing anymore. I just refuse to be intimidated them, I mean they asked for money, or art to "encourage" them to put up the site again. They aren't telling us what their terms are, and we're not being told any definents. I mean I respect what they did, but I don't like how they are behaving now. I just don't like getting into arguments, so I'm not going to argue any more. It's all a confusing matter in my opinion/

They don't understand the art of negotiation, you must offer something, in return for someone else offering. They are not doing that, they are offering only vagueness, and that is quite frusteration to someone who is trying to initiate a form of negotiation between them and the people who use the site. So, while they seem to think I'm being a jerk, I think that they are just misunderstand me. That is an easy thing to do, but I wish they'd treat me better. So, if anyone takes up my idea, I'll gladly give you my own personal video captures.

Why would Dragoniade ask for money? It's illegal to charge money for other people to view copyrighted material if you don't own the copyright.

I never could access that site anyway. I sent for a password, got it, but was never able to make it work.

Soliciting money is different then charging money, and the line between the two can be quite blurry at times. I'm in a club that charges a mandatory "voluntary" fee, hehe.
