| Philadelphia area gyms Okay, thinking about joining one (finally) in the Center City area. The Bally's on 15th and the 12th Street Gym are both relatively close to me. Folks in the area who know- How do they match up, in terms of price, equipment, programs and not being too intimidating to a novice? Thanks.     |

| I'm in NY,... ...but I've been to 12th.St.&I thought it was a great gym.It was a while ago,so things may have changed.Layout was a bit confusing.Very gay,but I like that.Bally's have a very bad reputation in NY;but it may be better elsewhere.Intimidation is usually all in your own head.EVERYBODY had to work through it,at first.Keep at it;&you'll soon look forward to your trips to the gym! |
