Yes, but I think it was for selling club drugs (Ecstasy?), not 'roids. And it was quite a long sentence (couple of years?) compared with others.

There's quite a list of well-known US BBs who have served months-long sentences on drug charges --off the top of my head, Victor Martinez and (this year) Dave Palumbo come to mind (though nobody's arrest/conviction was publicized like Titus'). It's odd when you think of it to single certain guys out when the entire business runs on juice. It may have more to do with blatantness (Palumbo has been outspoken for years) than law enforcement.

Craig and Kelley were captured in the northeast US this morning and are awaiting extradition. Well Merry Christmas to them. What a royal screwup and I used to really like this guy. I even argued with friends about his first bout in prison over steroids. This is a bit more serious. Really, really sad......

I recalled that Craig Titus had spent much of the late '90s dealing with drug-related criminal problems, but couldn't remember the details. Here's the accurate info:

In 1995, he was convicted of acting as an intermediary in an Ecstasy distribution conspiracy. He was sentenced to 16 months house arrest. In 1997, he was convicted on a steroid charge, and because it violated his parole on the first conviction, he spent roughly a year and a half in prison, where he was known as "The Beast".

Contrary to reports, Gold's Venice has not yet removed any of Titus's photos or posters from the walls yet. I counted three of them when I was there last night.

According to freecraigtitus, the pictures were taken down then put back up. I think the reports said they were taken down sometime late last week, but up again by sunday or monday.

actually, here are the posts with the dates:
Dec 23 - Confirmation that Gold's Gym in Venice, CA has removed all Craig Titus pictures from its walls.

Dec 26 - Gold's Gym Venice, CA: Craig Titus pictures are put back up on the walls after being previously removed.

(I know I'm getting the news a little late) But I didn't know about the Titus murder accusation until I just bought a Flex magazine.
I'm just checking out the articles and almost dropped a brick in my shorts

He was one of the great ones, and COMPLETELY SCREWED UP HIS LIFE with this. I'm still shaking my head because I can't believe it... he took a life??!!
Jesus, didn't Bertil Fox do this a few years ago??
Don't worry, I know need to calm down, I don't know all the facts yet.
Just pisses me off how quick people jump from disputes directly to murder.
