Xyggurat will become famous soon enough
Itmfa!

I'm a huge fan of Dan Savage.

For those of you unaware of this human gem, he's among Seattle's--possibly America's--columnists. Dan is the mastermind behind the advice column 'Savage Love,' (not to be confused with Michael Savage's atrocious radio program 'The Savage Nation') which dispenses advice to gays, straights, and everyone in between across the United States. Dan's advice is usually sound but unapologetic.

What really distinguishes him is not his writing ability, but his willingness to wield the power of his pen for social issues. Encouraged by a reader to take a stand against Senator Rick 'Just one letter off' Santorum's uninformed beliefs about the nature of homosexuality, Dan ran a contest to find his readers' best sexual definitions of the word "santorum."

Sure, it was lowbrow, but seeing Little Ricky S. confronting the new, satirical definition of his retroactive namesake word (just check www.spreadingsantorum.com if you really want to know what 'santorum' has been redefined to mean, as I won't offend you by describing it here) was priceless. Mastercard priceless.

Fast forward to the present day. Dan's liberal. About three football fields more liberal than I am, but we share a dislike of this President and his policies. In order to combat Bush, one of Savage Love's readers proposed a new grass roots campaign based on a bastardization of one of Dan's favorite acronyms: DTMFA, or "dump the motherfucker already!"

I don't really believe impeachment is the road to travel when dealing with President Bush, due to the massive commitment of resources and time that would be required to relieve him of his duties, but it's a nice idea. I think many liberals and conservatives alike can agree that Bush is low on the rung of people we'd like to see running the free world, and some of you may actually appreciate the sentiments Savage is expressing.

Without further ado, I give you the ITMFA campaign.

....for not bringing this up earlier myself.Given that Bush LIED ABOUT WEAPONS of MASS DESTRUCTION&a CONNECTION BETWEEN SADDAM HUSSEIN&AL QUAEDA&testified before the 9/11 commission ONLY under the condition that he&Cheney NOT be required to take the oath&that the attorney general agreed to testify about unauthorised wiretaps ONLY if he was not required to take the oath&that cabinet members were authorised to testify before Congress about Katrina ONLY if they were not required to take the oath;I think that any cost is worth it.Beats the shit out of a blowjob.ITMFA!
