They claim he has the biggest arms in the world.

Obviously they are pumped full of synthol but err it looks like a freaky morph!!

I can understand tatoos, and piercings, and even implants and surgical mutilations when done well, but the addiction to Synthol injections done poorly is just sick. Once you start you can't just do it in one muscle, you have to start keeping the rest of the body in proportion. Terribly expensive. Very dangerous, and it never looks good even in Greg Valentino. Pitiful!

There was another post on here that at one point mentioned something very similar. It was the 'world's biggest penis' one. There was one guy who'd done so much shit to his dick....dear god, the descriptions of it were bad enough but...there was a link someone had found to his online personal...it had a picture...
it's apparently 8x8. that's 8 long; 8 across.
Apparently he has to sit down to pee--he can't control the flow anymore. He obviously can't have sex (would he even get stimulation anymore? if it's not downright mutilated, the glans has to be too stretched out by now to.....)

Synthol's not a prescription, Glamma. It's not quite OTC, but it's available even in serious nutrition stores (not GNC).

But that's just it - this isn't muscle just an attempt to appear as if it is muscle and a pretty poor attempt at that.

I don't know what synthol is actually for, or if it even has a legitimate use, but I agree that this isn't it.

Synthol, is advertised to be a posing oil. but it is incredbily expensive. and well you know what people do with it... really strange i think.

I think synthol emerged in the 90s from a steroid called Escilene.

Escilene isn't a normal steroid it's more of a "pump steroid" that provided extra mass just before a competition. THe effects were short lived...

A guy called Chris Clark in Germany then produced synthol which is actually a patented or trade mark name so he couldn't actually use it and synthol is actually called Pump n pose but the name synthol has stuck with the product.

The idea is to inject the oil into a muscle to create an extra illusion of pump and to inflate muscles, such as the calves, that may not match up to the same size as other muscles, making them look weak.

Why do you say it's not a spoof? I went to the cps website and there is no "tranny milk" or "$72.00" mentioned. Where did you find that poster anyway? It looks like something that someone took and photoshopped a bunch of junk on to.

Did you make it and I am missing the joke?

OK, the poster showed up the other day on the French BB forum www.planetemuscle.com. I certainly didn't design it or post it there. (My French is not up to making out some of the commentary that accompanied it.)

I said that it "seems to be for real". The website looks a lot like the poster to me, just cleaned up and proofread. The poster said $72-, the website $72,000--I thought it might be a typo. There was also a milk listed as a sponsor.

Anyway, the main reason I posted it was to show that however ridiculous Chris Hofer may look, there's a market for everything. I have no doubt that he will be in demand at shows and expos--look at the attention he got here!

He reminds me of the female strippers and porn actresses who build careers on their 46DDD breasts. Either he thinks he looks great or knows he doesn't but figures it's a way to make a living! There are plenty of each type around--and plenty of fans to ogle him or goof on him.

The exact link is too long--follow the short link, click on "forum"--the thread is in the first "rubrique" (called "Le bodybuilding selon Michael Gundill"). It's on the first page toward the bottom, entitled "Poster Colorado Pro" or something similar.

I went back to take another look. My French is pretty good, but these are mostly native French speakers and they use a lot of slang and abbreviations. I'm thinking now it IS a parody that someone found on the getbig.com forum and reposted on www.planetemuscle.com, but please check on me.

I never said there was. And I'm obviously not doing a very good job of explaining myself. Uskathoth asked why I didn't think the poster was a spoof or parody, when he thought it obviously was. The poster--spoof or not--doesn't mention Hofer's name; it does use the exact same picture of him as in the post that started this thread. Since the Colorado show features a variety of non-bodybuilding "guest stars" (arm-wrestling, Richard Sandrak, etc., etc.), I thought it was possible that Hofer might appear there.

I directed whoever was interested to the French forum in case it was possible to discern whether the poster was real or a spoof by looking at the commentary. I knew it didn't mention Hofer--after all, his name is the same in any language!

Thanks for the info, lonewolf. For what it's worth, Chris Hofer spells it "Hiesinger".

One amusing side note: if you go to Chris Hofer's site-- www.chris-hofer.com --he's removed all but one pic of the freak in question. Explanation: "too much traffic".
