I spoke to Mr. Hollibaugh back in late 1999 I believe and I got the impression he was a very level headed person. What a shame it's not lasted though.

Brad IS a really nice guy, very level-headed and un-willing to buy into the Weider Juggernaught. I've written some fan fiction for him -- he enjoyed his cameo role in my story "Apollyon" -- and I've done some drawings of him, too -- which he wants (hard) copies of.

We chat online frequently and I think he enjoys my puppy-dog adoration. As far as I'm concerned, he could never be too big. But then, I like the freaks. I mean, he has the genetics and the abilities to go to extreems that a majority of people can't explore. Certainly I'LL never get there -- try as I might. You can agree with his decision or the methods he uses to achieve his ends or not, but ultimately, you can only say, "That's not right for ME."

Because believe me, it's okay by ME! I worship the ground Brad Hollibaugh walks on. He can NEVER be too big.

I have to agree with Absman on this one. Brad is definitely pushing the envelope with his size and development, and I love the freakzone quality he's got going. Also like that he's independent of the Weider thing.

I saw that video on his site. On most guys the synthrol(sp?) thing just looks gross. In regards to Brad's bicep flexing my only comment is..... BOING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of Gregg, there is a show on TLC tonight at 11:00 PM Eastern Time about his record breaking 28+ish inch arms. It looks pretty hot so you'll have to check it out!

Have to agree that Brad is my kind of freaky. The main differrence between him and Gregg is that Brad's hugeness is more in proportion. Valentino has astoundingly massive arms, but the rest of him, while big, isn't so massive. Also I have no idea where the bright idea to conduct home surgery could possibly have come from.

Those sort of proportions, whether Gregg or Brad, aren't about health or fitness, but about sheer size. If you wanna get that big, that's your choice. I certainly ain't going to complain!

Brad's arms are solid muscle, not oil-filled balloons like Valentino's. He admits to having done "site injection," which stretched the fascia, allowing the muscle to expand beyond it's previous limits. But after the oil disipates, what is left is muscle. This technique is used by many bodybuilders to help develop stubborn bodyparts that aren't in proportion. Brad has used it to develop his arms till they are out of proportion. He knows that he doesn't have the kind of physique that does well in competition, so he has chosen to go for a freaky bodypart instead, and exploit that.

Valentino belongs in the same category as people who have their tongues surgically split, or get head-to-toe tattoos. I won't speculate as to the psychology behind that kind of self-mutilation, but is seems very different from the urge that underlies bodybujilding, at least to me.

I personally find Brad more attractive. Gregg has larger arms, but I agree with Toothync that the rest of his body has fallen behind his arm's standards.

I've wondered about this guy -- Manuel Bauer -- since I first came across his pics. Less extreme than those of Valentino or Hollibaugh, his bis have a shape uncannily like those of Chris Bennett or the late Scott Klein, to name two. Anyone?

That guy looks like the only thing he works out is his biceps. His pecs don't appear to have any size and in the last pic, maybe it's the way his shirt creases over his nipples, he looks like he has gyno.

The best thing about Brad Hollibaugh is that he really gets into the dominate muscle brute role playing stuff, his cocky and aggressive posturing, flexing, and talking to the camera is so AWESOME. the way he toys with the guys that appear with him in the vids, he totally shows off.

Where does he find these guys BTW willing to appear in his vids?

Bruce Patterson is good too, but not quite into the role playing like Brad he's the best so far.

If you can find MOVING pix of Mr.Bauer;it's pretty easy to spot synthol.Synthol doesn't move.Arm flexed:big lump.Arm extended:same big lump.As regards Mr.Hollibaugh:I think the operative term here is:"unbelievable!"i.e.;I don't believe it for a minute.
