Dinosaurs: Steroids to Heaven

I remember seeing a silly comedy show on tv when I was a kid called Dinosaurs, where these anthropomorphic dinosaurs led 'ordinary' modern life. One episode, called 'Steroids To Heaven' was when the son didn't feel like a man (so to speak) and so he started to take 'thornroids' or something along that name.

Eventually he bulked up pretty big and fast, and he once lifted the entire refridgerator, which his father couldn't even budge (which is ironic, since the guy pushes down giant trees for a living barehanded) and he goes into a sort of roid rage.

So, if anyone has ANY idea where I can find a clip of this, or at least screen shots, I would be VERY grateful.

I don't have the whole episode, but the first two seasons of Dinosaurs were just released on DVD. I expect the remaining two (this episode was from season 4) to be on DVD in the near future.

I found the whole episode on eMule, just using as search words the title of the chapter. The download was a bit slow, though, cause very few people had it, so the parts were harder to download. In about three nights, I had it... it's not very big, about 150 MB or so. If I knew how, I would put it on youtube, but I can't find an easy way to do so.

Oh you mean THAT episode! Yeah, I liked it very much in those days. It's still nice to watch though...

How about spliting the video clip into seperate sections, then uploading the pieces onto youtube? You could try using a video editor to split the file into about 2-5 pieces or so, that would cut down the time it'll take to upload it to youtube.

I have the full episode on VHS which I recorded some time ago.
It took some time to capture and encode it.

The file is 160MB

Due to the 100MB limit on Rapidshare it is split into a 2 part rar file.

The main difficulty with using youtube is the 10mb limit on file size.

The version I uploaded would have to be split into 16 parts.
And I don't have a video editor that would do that easily.

What's wrong with rapidshare?

Even when I download it's programs It wont play. But, I'd just be happy seeing the parts with muscle in it; not the whole thing. Sorry if I'm being difficult.

rapidshare also claims you are already downloading stuff too quite alot. it doesn't matter what people do but they can't always access downloads

You have downloaded two files from rapdishare.
They look like this:

dinosaurs.part1.rar
dinosaurs.part2.rar

These are the two parts of a split rar archive file (like a zip file).
If you extract the video file from this using a program such as WinRAR
http://www.rarlab.com/
You will have a file dinosaurs.divx
DIVX is a video file file format. You can get the free player from:
http://www.divx.com/

You might also try the VLC media player.
It can play almost every media file out there.

Well, the idea is right and the intention is good but has anybody scanned the downloaded file for viruses?

I just downloaded "wrar351.exe" English released version of WinRar from www.rarlab.com and Norton AntiVirus says the following about it:

Name: Trojan.Dropper
Risk: High
Details: Virus

and it wants to quarentine it. I for one am not interested in getting ANYTHING ever again from this site.

If you have and use eMule, I'd recommend you downloaded "codec pack elisoft" and install it. If you have Windows XP, it'll say the program is "potentiallly dangerous", as usual, but i swear it isn't. If you download and install it (in think they are about their 13th version), you should be able to see almost any kind of video and audio file with the usual "windows media player". Good luck!

Thanks for trying to help me out. Unfortunatly, I'm computer impared, and thus I don't understand alot of this computer program talk. Sorry. Also, what I do know is Rapideshare wants 'money' for the good services, and I don't have alot of that to throw around. (Working minimum wage sucks in a bad way.) And, these other programs I don't know anything about. Sorry if I seem to picky. At very least you probally helped out alot of other users with the same questions, and they probally understood it better then myself. So once again thanks for atleast trying. I do appreciat that.

Winrar is not unknown software and I think rarlab.com is the official site, so I'd be surprised if the download there was contaminated. In any case, a windows alternative is ZipGenius which is free.

Rapidshare is free for non-"premium" service. Just click on the "Free" button.

I think the reason rar was chosen was because it naturally supports split-files. Rapidshare has a 100MB limit and so the upload had to be split in two. You need to download both and then use a rar program to generate the full file.


I didn't have any problems downloading or viewing the files. It's worth the effort. I've been trying to find this for a while. Many thanks to atm94404 and MisterE!
