Lady in the Water M. Night Shyamalan's next film "Lady in the Water" could be the most unmuscled production in history and I wouldn't care because Shayamalan is a freaking genius. However, this is not the case. There is a picture on the website in the photos section of the actor Freddy Rodriguez. It's number eight. DAMN. http://ladyinthewater.warnerbros.com/ Last edited by Yachirobi; July 9th, 2006 at 07:08 PM. |

what a pleasant surprise. now I have extra incentive to see that movie... |

Is that CGI or has he pumped up? He's what regardless!! |

It's a muscle suit... he's got the tell-tale arm sweatbands that hide the cuffs. |

Yep, going with 'TheMasu' that's definately a muscle suit, the fake veins give it away for me. But it reminds me of the movie umm.... "Running on Karma" or something like that, an asian feller put on a full muscle suit for the movie. I wish I could have a muscle suit like his...*sigh* |

Only his right arm is massively muscled...his left arm is normal. After reading what little is known about the storyline, my guess is that all the "regular" people in the film are actually fairy tale characters with amnesia. |

Freddy is acutally playing a character that is doing an experiment where he only works one side of his body. |
| |||
In this week's Entertainment Weekly, there's an article that makes mention of a character who "only works the upper half of his body." So, there's another spin to it. |
| |||
Reminds of that one Simpsons episode where Homer gets a barbell and just does arm curls with one arm. |

There's no twist to this one. Mr. Shayamalan finally got the message that the twist endings weren't working anymore. I still love his work though and I still can't wait. The muscle suit is just a plus. |

I saw an advance screening of the movie but I don't want to ruin anything about the plot. Rodriguez's character is really interesting. He only works out half his body, so his right half is all buff (both upper and lower) while his left half is normal. His character claims he's doing an experiment in a comical scene and shows that his right bicep is six inches bigger than his left. Even though it's a muscle suit, it's quite impressive. No feats of super-human strength though. |

Was it any good? Only the Washington Post and a TV critic gave it a good review. Everyone else is slaughtering it. But I still want to see it! |

I always liked Freddy Rodriguez in "Six Feet Under". So, I'm looking forward to seeing him in this, especially with the muscle suit. |
