| Apparently Captain Barbell goes back to a 1963 Philipino comic book, and has had more than one movie incarnation. The current series is apparently the first time that Captain Barbell and his skinny alter ego are played by the same actor! See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Barbell |

| Having seen it myself, I say it's not worth the trouble of even watching it, and the actor who portrays him, though admittedly more ripped than his predecessors, isn't as tall nor bulky and needs to wear a muscle suit. And, by the by, it's "Filipino", which ends up being misspelled a lot of times so no biggie. |
