Joe Lawrence

Last night (Saturday), I watched a new "made for TV" movie on the Sci-Fi Channel, called "Android Apocalypse". It starred Joseph Lawrence (aka Joe, aka Joey). I haven't seen him in years and was shocked by his appearance. His hair was very short and he's gained about 20 lbs. of muscle since I last saw him. He looks like he could be a light-heavyweight bodybuilder now, with huge arms and bulging pecs. Unfortunately, I don't have any way to download a pic from the TV. However, the movie is going to be shown again on the Sci-Fi Channel this Thursday at 9pm for anyone who wants to see it. I think the 9pm time would be local for each time zone. It's not a great movie, but definitely has eye candy, as it also includes a fight scene between the other lead actor and wrestler Jericho.

I remember in an episode of Brotherly Love, he decided to pose for Lou's art Class. He didn't know it was nude though. Its a shame that at the end Llyod takes the basket and then it ends. Its a shame. In fact all three brothers have extreemely good looks and bodies. They really won the genetic lottery.

that photo slide show is pretty interesting. it would have been better if it were in stricter chronological order...at least for those of us wanting to see his muscles grow. one of the last shots of him in a skin tight t-shirt lifting weights, with reflection in the mirror was pretty hot. i wonder what it was from?

any pictures of him or his brothers that emphasizes their muscles...real or morphed...would be greatly appreciated.

I tried watching that movie last Saturday but after about 20 minutes I fell asleep. I think that had to be the worse acting job he's ever done, and that's saying something. lol. He's a hot guy, with a great body, but his acting skills are nill.

He's not as 'pretty' as his brothers, but I think he's pretty good looking, has a great physique, and - unlike his brothers- can actually act, or at least portray more than one character.

Not to mention unlike Joey he can sing and make a decent career out of it.

Did anybody see that Disney movie that had Andy Lawrence in it? He was blind and he was trainging to become a wrester and there is a secne where he is curling and it is really hot!

I'll never understand why so many guys go after younger guys (or overly young guys) when most men get better with age. Joe (he doesn't need to be called Joey anymore) has turned into a real hunk and as long as he keeps lifting he'll just get hotter with age.

More seriously, however, its a shame he's not getting better roles. Maybe he'll get a break like Travolta did in Pulp Fiction soon.

Yup, "Android Apocalypse" was nearly unwatchable, like most Sc-Fi Originals. It seems to be the dumping-ground for scripts that were rejected by everyone else. And yup, Joe's performance was embarrasing. His idea seems to have been to play the android like a naive child; hence the high voice. But it came-off silly. And those ridiculous jerky movements! Any decent director would have steered him away from all that. He can give good performances with the right material and direction.

Most importantly, why cast Lawrence, and never show his body? I figured, well, sooner or later there will be a nude scene where they are reprogramming him or something, but no. It's like casting Dolly Parton and then only filming her from the neck up. Why do they think we tune-in to anything with Joey in it? Come on!
