Spider-Man 3 Teaser Trailer Oh man, they really know how to leave us hanging! No muscle growth sightings yet (though we're treated to a quick costume ripping scene), but I'm hoping we'll get to see Venom as he appears in the comic books soon. 4 May 2007 can't come fast enough. Super-who? (And that's from a DC drone. ) |
| |||
YEs thank god there was a couple of rumors going around that venom might not show his face in this one but he is I'm so happy since he is my favorit char of all times |
| |||
Well I must not have the current Quicktime Software cause it's not showing up, or it doesn't like me. :P Suggestions? __________________ Classic http://darkluster4.deviantart.com/journal/12559533/ http://www.squiby.net/view/3308001.png Great game, but I need friends/allies: http://www.travian.us/?uc=us1_13240 |

Topher Grace is playing Eddie Brock, so this may be another one for the CGI corps. |

Kidding aside, here it is on YouTube where this fake but nonetheless cool trailer cropped up. |

Ok The real one, and the fake both looked pretty cool. Thanks. __________________ Classic http://darkluster4.deviantart.com/journal/12559533/ http://www.squiby.net/view/3308001.png Great game, but I need friends/allies: http://www.travian.us/?uc=us1_13240 |

I liked the first movie, but it got too cerebral for its own good. I just wanna see Hulk smash. Until Richard Simmons becomes the new Wolverine, make mine Marvel Muscle! |

I just passed VLC this URL: http://movies.apple.com/movies/sony_...-tsr_h.640.mov that I pulled out of the Apple trailer page. That's the large-but-not-HD version. ...It'll look a lot better than frickin' YouTube, at any rate. |

6 months to go! The Sandman was pretty prominent in this latest trailer, so I'm hoping the other villains will get their share of the spotlight too. |
| |||
Isn't that too much information? They don't give up the ghost about Mr. V but I think it told too much of the story. Too many trailers spoil their own movies instead of getting people excited about them (but this is a good thing when the movies turn out to be bad.) |

Only question I had is where has Venom's package gone? He's got a tight butt but zero bulge... |
| |||
Aw man, this is not what I expected--or more to the point, wanted--Venom to look like. (Don't click the link if you don't wanna get spoiled.) One commenter remarks, "It reminds me a wee bit of what 'Batman and Robin' did with Bane." What do superhero movies have against 'roided freaks? |
| |||
Well, no one in the know is going to buy Topher Grace as Eddie Brock (Brock was a stud, although not a likeable one) so having a huge, hulking Venom wouldn't do... Damnit, what am I saying? Have Topher hulk out, damnit. I'm with you, O. Venom needs to be bigger so that Spidey can look cool! |
| |||
3 months to go! |

Not big enough! __________________ In the MGS FC's I am Psycho Mantis! "Put your controller on the floor...Put it down as flat as you can...That's good. Now I will move your controller by the power of my will alone!" |

NBC has a special preview of Spider-Man 3 that'll be available only up to 9pm PT tonight (Mar 6). Go web go! Last edited by omelissokomos; March 6th, 2007 at 11:05 PM. Reason: Link removed; preview is no longer available |

Gee, O, you don't seem excited about this movie at all. |
| |||
With the end of the movie trilogy opening in two weeks, here's a way to keep the franchise going: Spider-Man: The Musical. Oh gee, I've always wanted to hear the song in four-part harmony with an orchestra. Hehe, let's just see what "U2?s Bono and The Edge creating new music and lyrics for the project" will come up with and who their casting choices will be. Hope the guys will be as hunky as the ones in The Lion King. |

Well, there is always Hugh Jackman... |

It'll probably be as emo as the movies... blech. But with Bono and The Edge it can't be too bad. |
| |||
Like you said "O", what does hollywood have against huge roided out freaks. I think alot of people will be let down by Venom. I was hopeing to see a guy that is altered and pumped up to gross detail and proportions. And yes. I even wanted to see this huge figure in the suit eating people, like the suit does. If I knew the suit wouldn't eat me I would let Venom doe all kinds of things to me. Sorry. I think Venom is freakin hot! |

Just got home from watching Spidey 3 on the big screen. Speaking as a biased Spider-fan, I really enjoyed the movie with the exception of the black costume/Venom sub-plot, which I believe could've taken up more time. (Is it too much as ask to have a Secret Wars sequence put in to introduce the symbiote into movie continuity? Haha...) I was happily surprised seeing Venom not as small as I thought he would be. (Topher Grace should start working out for real.) And I was also pleased with some of the liberties they took with the Spider-Man mythos. (It helps keeping away from the spoilers, which I'm keeping out of this post until after most of you guys have watched it.) One of the things that struck a nostalgic chord with me was the use of the music from the 80s Spider-Man cartoon in certain scenes. Those who grew up watching it ought to recognize it fairly easily. I'm definitely watching it again soon. |

I just came back from watching the movie, and it was pretty good, definitely better then the 2nd Spiderman Movie. However, like omelissokomos said ,I think the movie should have had more to do with Venom. (I personally thought the whole sand man thing was kind of stupid) Anyways, not as much muscle as I hoped for, you get a quick nice view of James Franco(Harry Osborn) shirtless. And like omelissokomos also said, I was also surprised at Venom being bigger then I thought they would make him, however theres no good shots of him, you can kinda just tell he is buff, but not actually get a good view of any muscle. Anyways, the movie is pretty good, if you liked the first two movies, I'd definitely go see it, if your interested in Venom go see it. I hope there's a fourth movie were it focuses more on Venom . (despite the ending) And did they show anything after the credits? My friends always rush out of the movie theaters so I couldn't stay and watch ;( |

I liked it, but it's hard to defend it when the story can't spend enough time on, well, any of the subplots, really. |
