I went to see The Marine on Sunday afternoon. It was a cheaper matinee showing, thankfully. When I saw it was a "WWE Film" I didn't hold too many high hopes.

Being a Marine brat all my childhood, I know what things should be like (since I still live in a Marine Corps town). This was just a "brand z" ripoff of "Commando".

That's not to say that there aren't AMPLE opportunities to drool over John Cena's fine physique. That alone was worth the price of the ticket. Just don't expect much out of the actors or the plot (such as they are).

John was at Gold's last week (presumably in town for the opening). Pictures don't really do his size justice. He was wearing a grey sleeveless USMC shirt.

Got to agree with that. He was on C. O'Brien earlier this week and I was thinking the whole time he looked like Matt Damon's roided up twin.

In this clip, John brings out a good point. Amazing muscle growth doesn't have to be the 98 pound weakling becoming a 240 muscle stud, it can be the 240 pound dough boy becoming 240 pounds of solid muscle. Wish he had worn a sleeveless shirt for that Regis appearance.
