A potted history of Jiri Borkovec's career

Name: Jiri Borkovec
Date of birth: August 1st 1986
Hometown: Usti nad Labem, Czech Republic (Czechoslovakia as was)
Bio: My first experience with weight training was eleven years ago. My father was a competitive cyclist and used to go to the gym once a week to train. He took me with him. When he saw that I could lift heavy weights when I was only 7 years old, he stopped taking me with him. He said he didn't want me to exercise with weights. So, I started to do karate exercises. This sport didn't turn out to be the right one for me. Then, I tried playing soccer for awhile. At 12 years of age, I successfully competed in cycling and also played ice hockey. However, after one year of playing ice hockey, I had to stop due to the arguments which developed between my teammates.

one day, I said to myself, "You will be a bodybuilder," and I became determined to reach that goal. At the age of 13, I knew that this was the sport for me. I started to workout at home with a few dumbbells and benches for 3 years. Then, I joined a local bodybuilding club and trained at a public gym.

I competed after 1 1/2 years and was judged good enough to win the Czech National Championship in 2004. I'd like to move to the U.S. one day and compete there, do some sport modeling, and perhaps start university studies.

I want to do bodybuilding as well as I can and achieve the best results. Someday I'd also like to own my very own gym and work as a personal trainer in USA of course. As you can see, I am very ambitious and determined to excel in this, my chosen sport of bodybuilding.

we like you informing us of these European bodybuilders that you keep mentioning Kalinin, but if you're going to ask a poll about a person at least give us some basic details. If you are having problems or lack of confidence in posting, then contact me and I'll post what you want to say in a more grammatical sense

I voted that he was a "normal bodybuilder." He certainly has a great physique, but there are many young bodybuilders with great physiques. Jiri has phenomenal abs, no question about that, but his chest is a little flat in comparison and his biceps could use a little more peak to them. It's almost like he's walking the line between bulky fitness model and len bodybuilder. I could see him following in the footsteps of Frank Sepe, who had to sacrifice some mass to get all the great work as a model.
