I guess the more avatars Azra gets, the more powerful (and hopefully hunkier) he gets.

[COLOR=red]- I don't think the second one is supposed to be Azra. Looks to sweet and innocent. I'f his haie were lighter/blonde, I'd guess it was meant to be Gabriel.[/COLOR]

I've always wondered, where does Rowan get these avatars? Does he draw them himself? Does he ask someone else to? I don't know, so that's why I'm asking. I also gotta ask Rowan one teeny thing in a pm.

Actually, he is meant to be Azra. The way Gabriel sees him.

Heck no, I don't draw them myself! I find them on the internet, or in my collection, and then I ask a good friend of mine to alter them for me so that they fit the character in my mind. I've only started to learn to draw recently (as in started at the end of last month) and my learning process is, erm, interesting. If you'd like to check me out, you can go to deviant art at:

Check out my 'scraps' section too. That's where I put all the drawing exercises where I'm only focusing on one part of the body (like hair, or eyes, or (sigh) body).Warning, though. I have a LONG ways to go...

Sorry, I've been a long time lurker around here and this just really sparked my interest.
I'm pretty much on the same level as you, Rowen, but hope to be getting better. There are some really nice drawing books around and it looks like you're trying out the Manga/Anime styles (I won't go into the actual conotations of what Manga/Anime mean, or else I'll go even more off track than I am now). The series I've been using is How to Draw Manga or HTDM (http://www.howtodrawmanga.com/). Though a lot of their books go into how to draw female characters, I'm am particularly enjoying "Illustrating Battles" "Bodies & Anatomy" "Couples" and "Male Characters". :3

Well kudos all artists I say, I couldn't draw to save my life. And before anyone asks YES I have tried drawing books to help me, but to no avail.

I really liked my earlier line, ya know the "More pictures Azra has..." line, perhaps we should make it a real game!

A contest perhaps? Or just have each artist draw Azra as he\she sees that hot hunk.
