Help morphing

Could anyone give me some pointers on making a morph movie? I already got the program, but mainly what to morph, how long it should last, what kind of file, etc. Thanks ahead of time!

Talking Does this help?

"What to morph?" huge muscle-guys beating the crap out of each other. "How long should it last?" forever. "What kind of file?" what's a file?

Basically, what you wanna do amounts to a form of animation. You take a series of morphs and run them in sequential order sorta like a flipbook.
The downside to this is it takes a considerable amount of time to produce even a seconds' worth of material. Roughly, you must:

1. Extract the frames from the video you want to morph from. (remember 1 second of footage = 30 frames)

2. Morph the individual frames one by one, ensuring consistency of dimensions from frame to frame to create a believable illusion. This is akin to hand-drawn animation, where even a simple line must make kinetic sense from frame-to-frame.

3. Use software to stack the frames back together in order and spit out your video. (in technical terms, converting image files to video files--google "convert jpeg to avi" or something simliar for the software)

As you can see, it's an exhaustive effort, but the effect can be breath-taking! A marvelous example of this can be found on the Muscle-Growth-Stories yahoo group under files.

I have actually done this quite a few times, but have only produced one I feel decent enough for public viewing. I've posted my own humble offering in my thread in the photo forum.

Hope this proves useful to you =)

Thanks, I realized that I don't have enough time for morph movies with college and all, but I'll definately keep this in mind.
