How much to eat

Hi, I recently have put on 15 lbs of muscle. I'm very happy with my gains it took about 12 weeks. My trouble is that I have to EAT, don't get me wrong I love to eat and love to over eat. The problem is that I go to bed with an absolutely stuffed gut. A round basketball. I wake up with a flat stomach. Sometimes I can't fit any more food in and I'm still hungry and I know I should eat more. I know there are gainershakes but I have heard that only one a day is best. But... whole food takes up room. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
ps, I do break my meals into 5-6 small meals.

15lbs of real muscle in 12 weeks done naturally sounds great to me... I don't think you could expect much better results.

Keep up the good work and don't worry so much about getting enough calories.

Burn the Fat; Feed the Muscle

I have read and HIGHLY recommend reading the e-book "Burn the Fat; Feed the Muscle" aka BFFM. It is filled with very enlightening and help information.

Here's the website for the e-book

Here's the website for the e-book, Burn the Fat; Feed the Muscle.

I get no kick backs or anything so this isn't an advertisement for it; just an endorsement of it because it is very good and factual.

Good gain, and it sounds like you have your meal plan set. One question is how much water do you drink? Even though you think it might fill you up more, about 4 liters is good to keep your system flushed out and actually allow you to take in more food. You may also need to look at more calorie dense foods in place of what you are eating.

My diet is set, as I eat roughly the same thing for 4 meals throughout the day, supplemented with one gainer shake, and then a meal of my choosing.

Regardless of what you do, good luck!

Russ

Nice gain friend.Congrats.Eating up to the satisfaction level is not bad i must say but overeating may harm your health. If you want to overeat then try to increase your workout or exercises also.

Hey Brainsbrawn you are getting some good advice here - and yes 5-6 smaller meals a day plus lots of water is the way to go. Eat a mix of protein, carbs and "good" fats with every meal. Good fats are things like avocado, fish oil, nuts etc. Best source of carbs is vegetables and fruit. Try to eat as natural as possible and limit things like protein shakes - get your protein as much as possible from things like tuna, chicken breast and red meats. Mate, 15 lbs muscle gained and a flat stomach in the morning sounds like heaven to me! Keep it goin.

figuring out how much to eat takes time, but more meals per day are better than only 3 meals.

First there is no way you added 15lbs of muscle in 12 weeks unless you did a cycle. your question how be it a legit one does show that your confusing weight gain with muscle gain. you can use a sublingual b complex to help you eat more or you can do shakes but for the most part you dont gain good quality size and muscle from shakes. the best way is to do a nutritional timed nutrition plan. that should help with the eating issue. if your not sure what i mean let me know.

One should only eat that much what he can digest. In my opinion, whatever you eat it doesn't matters, but how you digest it really matters.

Well 3-4 small foods a day plus plenty of water is the way to go. Eat a mix of proteins, carbohydrates and good body fat with every food. Best body fat are things like grape, olive oil, almonds etc. Best resource of carbohydrates is fruits and veggies. Try to eat as natural as possible and limit things like protein shakes.

Hi, I recently have put on 15 lbs of muscle. I'm very joyous with my profits it took about 12 weeks. My problem is that I have to EAT, don't get me incorrect I love to eat and love to over consume. The difficulty is that I proceed to bed with an wholeheartedly stuffed gut. A round basketball. I wake up with a flat stomach. occasionally I can't fit any more nourishment in and I'm still hungry and I know I should eat more. I understand there are gainershakes but I have heard that only one a day is best. But... entire nourishment takes up room. Any help would be treasured! Thanks!
