...that when the new congress convenes one of the 1st. orders should be a law that allows people to shoot; with a stun-gun; anyone that uses "like" (usually girls) more than 5x in a single sentence. Because it's just, like, so, like, ANNOYING when, like, somebody, like, says like, "LIKE" all the time! Like if you took out all the like, "LIKES"; they'd be saying like, NOTHING!

Um, like, I haven't like, heard the word, "like", in like 800,000 years! People still use that? Like, totally gag me with a spoon!

Seriously, I thought that word had died. However, compared to finding out what actually happened on 9/11, getting trustworthy voting machines, and finding out why we are in Iraq, I can live with a few more years of the early 80's sad lingo...

I'm not an expert in drafting these things, but it's possible you might have something along these lines:

"This house calls for the punishment by stun gun those people who use the term "like" (of which the vast majority appear to be females) more than five times in any one sentence. We realise that this may cause a sudden drop in the amount of words spoken by the honourable members from California, but at the same time call for the decency of the English language!"
