Muscle In Anime Heya, just wanted to share a little anime I found on youtube. It's about boxing, and they have some muscle content. But to get to the point, here's the good shower scene. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubnO60EM4l4 __________________ Ancient Proverb: Whatever doesn't kill you today will only make you sore the next morning. redkage |

Oh, Ippo-kun! This anime is Hajime no Ippo and it's available in the states on DVD as Fighting Spirit. As it is a boxing anime (no card collecting or tentacles or magical girls) there is plenty of muscle. I suspect someone on the staff is either gay or thinking about us gays because there is a lot of muscle fan service. The story, however, is what really clenches things. Ippo is a high school guy who gets bullied a lot until one day he meets a champion boxer who gets him interested in boxing. From there we see Ippo train and make his way in the sport. The series is nice and long with at least 100 episodes and a heavy focus on complex character development. There are no absolute villains except for one or two throw away characters. I love the fact that Ippo has to fight real people with real goals. This show has all the stuff that they never bother with in the butchered kids anime that gets dumped on American airwaves. It's a great show for those who are only used to anime stereotypes. And, don't forget, that it's full of musclemen. |

You should definitely check out Grappler Baki/Baki the Grappeler too. http://baki.ne.jp/ ..and while it's silly at first look, Ultimate Muscle/Kinnikuman Nisei is actually a great series. Ultimate Muscle is the sequel to the original 80's series Kinnikuman. Kinnikuman's story starts out silly and comedic but becomes more and more serious in the later episodes especially in the Golden Mask arc. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinnikuman http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultimate_Muscle __________________ WRRYYYYYY! |

There's a difference between looking at a single picture and watching an entire episode. Of course I do admit the main char. looks silly but I liked him more and more after a long while. Of course he's not my fav. char. in the series. My fav. char. is Brocken, a Nazi (yes Nazi) who is actually good at heart and has a great bod underneath his military costume (you rarely see him shirtless). His father was one of the villains in the original Kinnikuman series. __________________ WRRYYYYYY! |

Here's Tenjou Tenge, another anime that has some muscle in it. Just about every person in this anime is ripped, and there's a huge wrestler in an earlier episode. Someone posted another clip from this anime featuring a guy growing so huge that he has to crouch down to fit in the room. The scene to look at is about 30 seconds in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1ddWoTE-P4 __________________ Ancient Proverb: Whatever doesn't kill you today will only make you sore the next morning. redkage |

two things: firstly, I'm going over to Japan during the second half of January, and i'm definitely going to try to find some muscle yaoi or magazines if I can. Any recommendations other than G-Men? secondly, I remember an episode of Rurouni Kenshin with a cute sumo guy. He was being bullied by the bigger, older sumos, but Kenshin tought him to have confidence. It's quite a hot episode with lots of muscular sumos! ha, what do you know, I found the episode on Youtube! Man, I know we've all said it before but...I love Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBoDEtaCKcQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUz0D...elated&search= good to see some anime fans on here, btw. |
| |||
Tenjou Tenge is in my Blockbuster que. I'll check it out on YouTube but since the show is available stateside I can't really condone it being pirated. But I have to peek. That clip was too fucking hot. EDIT: Scratch that a little bit. I may reconsider because this looks too much like a standard fight-fight-fight anime like Dragonball and I don't like that type. Fullmetal Alchemist has a lot of brawny, muscular guys. Alex Louis Armstrong, in particular. :3 |

Gotta love the manly men! Not only is Full Metal Alchemist's Armstrong buff, but he loves to show them muscles off as well! Here are two of my favs: Friendship through muscles (4 mins, 30 secs in): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNVFgTziibI Now touch my muscles and feel! (1 min in): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVAS-KgiqFE Also, there's a nice shirt ripping scene in the movie, Castle in the Sky. Extremely poor quality, far into the clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QI1Q_KCBpVg __________________ Ancient Proverb: Whatever doesn't kill you today will only make you sore the next morning. redkage Last edited by redkage; December 15th, 2006 at 10:15 AM. |

Fist of the North Star has some hawt muscle growth, but unfortunately, I can't find it. I know that it's in the 40th somethin min. of AMV Hell 3: The Motion Picture (a huge 700mb film, sorry!) so you can watch that if you want (the whole thing's funny, so I'd sit through it.) |

Why didn't I think to bring it up? The ripping in that clip of Castle of the Wind (if you have not seen it, see it NOW, and not via that lame pirate copy and not just because of the muscle) starts around 9 minutes and 45 seconds in. |

You linked it correctly. About how far in is the MG? So incase we don't feel like watching it all the way through. EDIT: Watched it, it's about 5:30 into it as well as about 6:50-thru the end, although I do agree, it is a lil cartoony (and strangely hot). __________________ In the MGS FC's I am Psycho Mantis! Too bad the muscle growth wasn't the usual clothes ripping feast but it was still nice. But I'll have to check out that show. Daikon Bros. looks like fun. |

I remember I wanted to post of a clip like that and I never did or I dont think I did... I'm going to see if I can find it again. It was actually a pretty good muscle growth scene. Edit: Well I found the wrestler Redkage was talking about earlier... you can see him here, if you keep watching episode 6+7 you can see him in action. I think theres another scene of him earlier in the show with his wrestling club, don't remember if it was to good or even worth really seeing, it might have been a quick blurb. Still looking for the growth scene though. The first part of episode 6 can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ee0TOC2tXg Last edited by Cai; December 29th, 2006 at 06:50 PM. |

I have no idea what that Inukami show is supposed to be about (Dog God? Weird.) but here's another clip that explains the "perverted ED" that Roxato posted above. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_x7UREvMBHI It's very weird but you might find it stimulating. |

The main character of "Zone of the Enders: Dolores, I" has a nice body, and there's a couple of side characters with beefy bods, too. |

http://www.anonib.com/_bara0/../indexes/images/...0683706640.gif This is a little off topic but when I saw this animated GIF I couldn't help but think about it being followed up with a full body experience to match. I believe it comes from the anime Golden Boy but I'm not sure. I know it's something I've seen before, though. |

Gee, Yachi. That's swell. |
| |||
lol great gif yachi! |

Going back to Inukami here's a special version of the ending http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAgb1DGrngk It's a harem/comedy anime and of course with the gratuitous amounts of female fanservice that it does have it unusually has lots of running gags about "Macho" guys. |

Reviving the Subject.... It's time I add my two cents to my own thread again after a very very VERY long hiatus from the internet. Yakitate Japan, a strange yet funny anime about bread making. There are very few muscle content, but it's nice enough I guess. There is one guy who worked so hard on building his arms that they stretched disproportionably thick and long that he can actually walk on them while supporting two other people. Training at the gym: content at 2:40, 3:00 amd 3:20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyeYj0gox0U Not very buff, but ripped and one wearing a loincloth. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-GQoSUfUUo Features a guy who worked his arms so much that they grew 3 meters long. 2:00 mins in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_MFaJm6__4 Ihchinek, an anime i just found tonight actually. It looks rather promising, being a fighting type anime, and it's a comedy to boot. Musclemen dotted throughout the clip, but I liked the preview at the end myself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3j7OuyEqdt4 __________________ Ancient Proverb: Whatever doesn't kill you today will only make you sore the next morning. redkage |

Someone's given you the wrong title, its not actually called ichinek its called Shijou saikyou no deshi kenichi, or History's strongest disciple kenichi. |

oh, they were posting the name in backwards...for fun i guess? ihcinek = kenichi :P |
| |||
Maybe they didn't want the people at youtube to take it down or something, so they listed it under a new name.....or something like that, since when I checked out the other episodes listed under the real name, they were banned. __________________ Ancient Proverb: Whatever doesn't kill you today will only make you sore the next morning. redkage |

How weird.. youtube are normally super-lax when it comes to taking down anime episodes. Anyway another anime with a good amount of hotness is One Piece... Got Zoro, Smoker and Ace.. and pretty much EVERY sport anime will have a few buff guys even if theyre only side characters at some point (since most sports anime tend to be never-ending....) |
