Nearing the 10k mark.

Not sure if anyone else has been paying attention, but I have and the site is nearing the 10,000 member mark! *sniff* The site grows up so fast.

We have about 90 members left before we reach it.

Well, by its core, this sight is about growing. I am sure we will shoot right past it and beyond. There are just so many people in the world that love what we love and i bet we haven't even scratched the surface.

Yep indeed, as with most forums there's many lurkers as expected. Less then 70 left BTW.

As of this morning when I logged on we were at 10,003. How many of them are still active or spammers is probably a high number, but there's still a lot of us out there. Even the MGS Yahoo group has close to 9000. Congratulations, and let's keep working to make this as great a group as possible. Happy holidays!

First off, yes I know I'm reviving an old thread, but it seemed better then making a new one.

Despite my above post from way back in 2006, I thought that 20,000 would also be a threshold, even if most of the people who have joined since then are spammers (and probably will continue to be), members are members.

Less then 70 to go at the time of this post.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there are a ton of people (bots and real people alike) who have never activated their account. I'm thinking about doing a mass pruning of these users in the next day or so, which should bring our membership count down significantly.

From looking at just the usernames and email addresses provided, it looks like a significant number of these sign-ups were done by spammers.

Well then, you go ahead and do so FleX, we would all love to be rid of spammers once and for all. The number of members is just that, a number.

All the more reason it'll be even better when we reach 10,000 actual members.

Well now folks, shall we try this dance again?

Less than 300 members towards 20,000 members once more. If there are mostly new spammers and bots within this new group, I can always wait another year.

(Yes, this is a bit of thread-ro-mancy, but what can I say, I rather like milestones such as this. After all, nearly 20k cocks j/o'ing is a lot of cum indeed.
