| MTV True Life: I want the perfect body MTV's documentary series "True Life" had a couple of episodes called "I want the perfect body". One of them was kind of cool because it featured two entirely different body types: "Ryan" is a 23 year old jockey who weighed about 103 pounds. For him, achieving the "perfect body" meant gaining about 5 pounds. He need to stay very light but wanted stronger triceps and forearms to help him ride the horses. Unfortunately, during the weeks they were filming the documentary, he crashed with his horse and suffered a concussion and had to stop training. He was going to try again. At the other end of the spectrum was 19 year old Kevin, who wanted to become a professional strongman. He weighed about 245 pounds, and was named the strongest teen in America. He did not win the strongman event he was training for during this episode, but has since become a professional. | Here's another episode of "I Want the Perfect Body". Anthony is a 25-year-old bodybuilder who was trying to turn pro. He only placed 3rd in the contest covered during the show so he didn't get his pro card. This guy was REALLY comfortable with his body, almost to a fault. He stripped down completely to have his father shave his glutes for him. Seemed kind of strange to me.       |
