"Ironbeer" muscle soda

I came across this odd soda. It's hard to describe the flavor, I guess it's half cola, half cream soda. I just bought it because I liked the logo on the can.

Ironbeer? Must be marketed to the insecure-in-their-masculinity set that seems to be catered to so well these days. *eyeroll*

In all fairness, it seems this soda has been around since 1917. I don't think it's a marketing gimmick.

Actually, I was joking but I didn't make that clear in the post. I always forget that people can read the words I write but they can't hear the way I said the words in my head.

which used to be advertised with the following ending. As the male and female stars are walking home (after persumably a first date), the female drops her keys. "Here, let me shed some light for you" and bends one of the street lights down so she can find her keys.

Yeah, when I first saw this, I presumed that it was a new or rebranded version of Irn-Bru, which always tasted somewhere between a cola and a root-beer to me, so calling it IronBeer would be approprite.

Btw, Irn-Bru is one of the best hangover cures in the known universe, for those who care about that kind of thing. <g> Not sure if the "Ironbeer" version is the same stuff, but might be worth a try.
