Jon Thor: The Legendary Rock Warrior

By Odin's beard, check out the zounds of this 70s bodybuilding rock star. He was on tour with his band as recently as last year. Talk about immortal.

"Oh my word it's the Germans from 1979 all over again!"

During the mid 70's I was visiting my Grandparents in France, along with my Mom, when I found an ad in a magazine for a record of Thor's music. Great painting of him in tight leather pants holding, I think, a jaguar on a leash. Dragged my poor Mom to one record store after another looking for it, but no one had ever heard of him. A few years later I got my hands on a tabloid sized comic he put out of himself. 90% of it was crap but 4 pages of it, his ‘origin’, was drawn by comic legend Neal Addams. It wasn’t till “Rock and Roll Nightmare” and “Zombie Nightmare” hit the USA network that I was able to see Thor in all his bizarre glory. And if you haven’t seen the last 10 minutes of Rock and Roll Nightmare, then you don’t know the meaning of the words “What the hell?!?!?!”

Woo! A hunk who can sing! And notice that hairy, beefy body without a nasty roid gut. Where are the men like that? Can I have one?
