Why do you guys go crazy over muscle? Hey,guys new here! I am just intrested in why you guys love muscle and muscle growth so much. I would just like to know! |
| |||
I like to think that I love muscle growth because, for me, its like the physical manifestation of the other man's masculine energy. And the idea of a person physically becoming "more" is just exciting. |

My therapist would love to know the answer, too. |

(Had to!) Personally, my reason is quite simple, muscle is what I don't have. __________________ In the MGS FC's I am Psycho Mantis! "Put your controller on the floor...Put it down as flat as you can...That's good. Now I will move your controller by the power of my will alone!" |

I think i like muscle growth because I wish that I could become the man thats transforming |

As for me, I love muscle and muscle growth (real & fictional) because it makes me feel empowered. Growing up, I'm sure I wasn't the only gay guy who looked at the jocks with longing (to be them and be with them). I especially love working out and transforming my physique because it is my own creation. Not unlike a stone carver chipping and chiseling away at a bare block of stone...soon, it will be a work of art. My work of art. Sorry if that sounds corny, but that's what deeply connects me to muscle. __________________ Donnie My Blog: Donnie's Diversions My MSN Space with pics & workout blog Jacksonville, Onslow County, NC, USA I'm reminded of the immortal last words of Socrates who said, "I Drank What?!" |

i like how it looks, like how it feels, like how people with muscle walk and carry themselves, and love the power and strength that comes with it. All this turns me on greatly, just something that's always been |

Mmmmm.... It's a difficult question. I don't know. Maybe it's as simple as this: Muscles and musclegrowth excite me. I don't know why. The same goes as why I like blue colour or why I like to read comics. I just do. |
| |||
I'm just like DonnieJvilleNC. I always wanted muscle when I was growing up but I could never get any. I always looked at the jocks as the studs I could never be. Muscle and muscle growth have turned me on for years. |

Good question... Well, for me I see muscles as a form of power, and also a thing of beauty, strength and masculinity. And let's face it, when you are in a mall or store or any public place, the big muscle guy will stand out if not just for the sheer size. I know I also was a painfullu skinny teenage and adult, and I would always look and marvel at the big muscle guys at school, on campus and when I was REALLY lucky, working side-byside with them! Today, I STILL admire the sight of the big muscular guy, even though I have been told that I AM one of "them" now! Ron III----III |

eh, why try to explain it? I just thank goodness I am into muscle. Wouldnt have it any other way. Even if most of my friends do not share my interest or tell me "dont get to big" |

Have loved muscle since being a kid. Think it symbolizes all the good about masculinity. It wasn't until being an adult that I became confident enough to become a bodybuilder. And still, I haven't stepped onstage in posers... ...I've stepped before an audience in MANY other outfits, tho. NOTHING like that appreciative applause and wolf-whistles. |
| |||
When I was little, my father was skinny, scrawny and abusive. I was fascinated by strong, muscular men and wanted them to be my dad and treat me good and protect me rather than abuse me. That's where it all started. |

At the time I was growing-up, you just didn't see male bodies unclothed. So when I found bodybuilding magazines, those physiques were my first experience of what the adult male body looked like. Naturally, that became imprinted on my mind as the epitome of male sexiness. When I was finally able to start having seuxal experiences with other men in my twenties, it was difficult for me to become excited over "ordinary" men. They just weren't what I had been fantasizing about and jacking off to for the previous decade. It took me a long time to get to the point where I was able to become very excited over typical men. To this day, there still needs to be something "extraordinary" about a guy for me to be very turned-on by him. If not a great body, then a big cock, or amazing looks, or an extreme personality. Sad, but not much I can do about it now. We never really get over the experiences that shape us in our youth. Another factor was my father, who was the most sexless man I have ever known. He was a typical flabby business man in a suit and topcoat of the time, with the personality of a accountant and the sex appeal of a clam. So of course I found the opposite attractive. |

I suppose that its because its a manifestation (how many times is that word used in this thread???? 18?) of the few things I'm not. I'm a backstabbing bitch, but my muscle counter stays at 0. Unless of course, you count the fingers. Pianists have huge finger muscles... |
