Classic Comics Now With Muscle

Anyone see the Beetle Bailey strip a couple months ago with a big muscular Beetle Bailey? It was a nightmare that Sarge was having. Beetle was very big and very buff. I shoulda scanned it.

Wish they would have Beetle or someone in classic comic strips workout and become huge. How about the kid in Hi and Lois or the young police officer dad in Jump Start?

I think they've buffed up the Jump Start guy a few times, sometimes when his kids imagine him as a genie, and I think also in pictures of him when he first met his wife.

The kids in Foxtrot, maybe? I don't know if Amend knows _how_ to draw buff guys.

Peter frequently has "fantasies" wherein he's huge. Course, the forearm is still all skinny, but aside from that, Peter is pretty good looking.

Too bad he retired.

Not retired - but the strip is Sunday-only now.

Maybe Winky in "Rockit Brewster: Space Guy"?

Those ain't muscles. Those there 're UDDERS! But it was funny. (Never mind the fact that we have a war going on that Beetle seems completely unaware of...)
