Bull neck experience I came across this account of an incredible sighting of a bull necked muscle freak and thought others might enjoy reading it as much as I did. My only wish is that I was there to witness this incredible man myself "Did you see the guy with the giant neck?" "He had the biggest neck I have ever seen!" "YES. I am saying that he had the biggest neck I have ever seen!" Those are the three statements Dr. Ken and I simultaneously said to each other. It was just Dr. Ken, Kathy and I. This is one of those funny, funny stories that make Dr. Ken and I laugh whenever it comes up. We really made each other laugh that night. Our statements to each other were funny, but that guy's neck was no laughing matter. Doc and I had just finished doing a strength clinic for the opening of the new Steel Fitness Facility. Frank Savino, o f what was then Steel Fitness and now Grid Iron Fitness, took us to eat at the best Italian restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. He claimed that it was the best one on Long Island and I believe him. I think Dr. Ken, Kathy and I were the only ones in the place who spoke English as their first language. Sitting behind Dr. Ken was this absolute mountain of a man. He was not one bit fat. I believe he was Italian, based on his conversation with the waiter, but he sat with a bunch of small Hispanic guys. When I say small, everything is relative. Frank looked small compared to this guy and he was a 235 pound college football player. What was most impressive was this guys neck. He was very well dressed in a custom suit. But you could not hide this guys neck! I have never seen anything like it. The guy had a shaved head, so you could see his traps ex tend all the way up into the back of his head. You could also see peaks on the guys traps, almost like they were biceps pasted on his shoulders. Doc and I agreed that this guy had to weigh every bit of 350 pounds. For his neck to stand out on that frame, especially to the two of us, this guy had put in some real work. It was this moment that I realized how absolutely impressive a seriously developed neck can be. We didn't talk to him. Yet, Doc and I both know how he built up that neck. He did everything he possibly could to work that neck. I am certain that he did cleans, shrugs, neck machine work and head harness work, with neck specialization. That was a neck built on power. |

mmmph, seriously, few things that turn me on more than a thick bull neck like that. Best part about it is that you can never hide it with clothes, it's always there to be shown off. Awesome sighting. |
