Wow. He's an older guy now anyway. I used to lust after Arnold but not since he got so old he had to dye his hair reddish dark because his skin was too old and pale to make dark dark hair believable anymore. That Tom Katt (must be a stage name) became a fundie preacher is way curious and a little sad. How do you go from THAT to THAT? What a twisting, curving vertigo-inducing life. I've quit trying to hold Christians to the higher standard of morality that they so often claim. Experience has shown me it is nothing more than self-delusion, so if I allow them to delude me, that is my fault. And any genuinely good Christian would never claim such a moral superiority in the first place. It's really only the living assholes who try such nonsense. OMG, I'm giving Christians a pass. Not what I intended.

Eh... Fundamentalist Christian ministers are pretty universally frauds, in it strictly for the tax breaks (combined with the nice salary you can squeeze out of gullible believers). If we suddenly required strict accounting from religious organizations (right now they can just do some hand-waving and basically make up the numbers they report) and did away with all the tax breaks, Christianity would suddenly cease to exist as an organized religion in the U.S. from an almost complete lack of ministers, the same way there was only one Confucian in Lu. (It might possibly leave the Catholics here, since they're almost as interested in trying to control people as in collecting money, but it would be a close-run thing.) You can bet that any royalty checks for "Tom Katt" videos are being cashed promptly.

The appeal seems to be the idea that if someone who was a terrible sinner -- and since fundies don't really count anything but sex and blasphemy as sin, "a terrible sinner" almost invariably means someone who was in the sex industry in one way or another -- can not only be redeemed but can become a good person (because of course all preachers are good people and those of you who actually read the news and know that preachers are statistically more likely to be criminals in a wide array of offenses, both sexual and financial, should just shut up), then that's merely more "evidence" that Jesus can save people! So you should send money! Lots of money!

It's not exactly bodybuilder porn, though there are bodybuilder types involved now and then, but there's a porn actor going by the name of Lito Cruz (I think) - he is muscular in a more "wiry" kinda way (and some insane vascularity) - turns me on every which way whenever I see him perform. My understanding, from what I've read on the net, is that yes, Tom Katt did become a Christian, but I never heard he was an actual preacher.....more along the lines of what Suma said. However, unlike many conservative religious people, he has not apologized for or denied his former life, or homosexuality in general, and in fact is supportive of gay people. If this is true, good for him!
