Crossfit and bodybuilding

I had typed up this whole post, then got locked out and lost it. Oh well.

I'm 24, a fitness enthusiast gone crossfitter, now want to be bodybuilder. My goal is to mix the both bodybuilding and crossfit to get some awesome results. I'd like to some day compete in both sports.

Aug 2012 (Shorty after I started crossfit, I was entering a paleo challenge, and weighed in around low 180s?)

July 2013 ~195lbs (I ate a little too much)

For the month of July, I've just been doing crossfit, August starts my bodybuilding workout alongside crossfit!

PS I swear I work out legs, crossfit loves squating, lol

Nice work so far! Actually, I think you CAN incorporate both into your training... If you research the PHAT workout, it talks about training everything twice a week, once with heavier bodybuilding techniques and once with faster-crossfit styles. Of course, more than 60% of your progress is going to be diet specific, so get that figured out too!

Thanks! I feel like my progress has been pretty stagnant lately (I'm my own worst enemy though, lol). The one improvement I have seen lately though is with alot of the movements in crossfit. I agree though diet is going to be key. I was worried this month, I wasn't going to get enough calories just doing crossfit alone, and over-ate. Definitely going to have to keep a close eye on it!
