Why I Got Started

When I graduated from high school and went to college I was very insecure with the way that I looked. I had been called skinny the majority of my life and I felt it was time to not only pack some weight on but prove to myself that I could be more than just the skinny kid from Kansas.

I had huge dreams of one day being on the cover of a Fitness Magazine and obtaining the physique of my childhood hero Jean Claude van Damme. I remember when I first started working out that I had no idea what I was doing. I literally spent more time in the gym and reading up on fitness then I did my own college classes.

Needless to say, I graduated college with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and a fitness model physique!

This video has some great pictures of Alexey at age 13 (the famous double bicep shot) then some pictures of him with his family BEFORE he got huge. There is an absolutely AMAZING comparison pose of him with Phil Heath at around 1:10 or so. Phil looks the same size or smaller than Alexey!

Amazing growth. The unreal muscle thickness of Alexey really does demonstrate that he has amazing genetics to really pack on muscle in ways that most people just don't have.

Maybe it's just the angle/aspect ratio of the picture, but I can't quite tell what's going on in the after. Morph? Roids? Synthol? His proportions seem off somehow.

Tumbl'd across an old pic of Adam Charlton just now. His physique looks basically the same, but he's definitely bigger. I really admire the way he's grown without ever doing a typical bulk. He stays lean instead.

Well, it looks like the rest of his body caught up to his forearms and quads. You have to admire how much he's grown without significantly increasing bodyfat %.

And he has actually kept a beautiful proportion, not that I don't like bulk, but bulk for me should be Peter Molnar, which is how I think Adam would kinda end up if he really blew up in size.

IN the after picture, you can definitely see that he has added size to his lateral deltoids, which makes him look much wider. He has also broadened his lats and added some thickness to his chest.

Someone compared him to Peter Molnar. I think of the two of them, Peter has much more pronounced pectoral development, which gives him a much thicker appearance up top. Adam is wide, but he's no where near as thick as Peter is. I think Adam's different body build tends to width without as much thickness. Adam certainly is conditioned in these pictures.
