Yalouz Clothing

This is somewhat of a Technical question as well as a question of interest to bodybuilders. There is a French clothing line called Yalouz that used to have an easily accessible website at http://www.Yalouz.com. Apparently, they changed hosts to oscommerce and now I am unable to see the online catalog. I'm not the only one as others have also had this problem while some others have not. I've tried writing to them to see if they are still in business and they are but their English is not very good and they don't seem to understand the problem. If anyone out there knows what might be the problem and would care to enlighten me, I'd greatly appreciated. Their clothes are kind of pricey but great for bodybuilders.

Type up an email to them in a notepad/text explaining in detail what is wrong, then go to altavista.com and do a "translate" from english to french, copy and paste the results and send the email. If they reply back in french, do the reverse. I've had to do that on a couple of sites (translate from english to italian) and it seems to work.

Looks like they're still building their new store. There are definetly issues with the rendering as well as just general permissions. I'm gonna guess that no one can see the catalog right now (unless they're linking to the old one which some people probably are).

I'm surprised they went with OSCommerce actually. With products like ZenCart ,which are built off the OSCommerce core, I don't see why anyone would use the original cart.

A reply from Yalouz....

After MONTHS of writing to them, I finally received a response. Here it is:

"Hello,

For the moment, our website is available only in French, requires "Internet explorer 6" and "flash player 9".
Thank you

yalouz"

In that case, vote with your wallet and feet since they seem to not want to change anything

Websites in Europe seems to be enamoured with FLASH. Personally I find FLASH terribly annoying, slow, wasteful and uber-artsy with little if any benefit.
