New to CT

Hey folks, I recently moved to Connecticut (Hartford). I am out of shape, and am eager to start lifting. Unfortunately, I have never really lifted and frankly think I need someone to help put me on the straight and narrow. I was hoping there was someone around to teach me some things, show me around some weights. I know I have it in me to shed this weight and put on some serious muscle, if I have the right mentor.

Let me know if anyone is interested, or even interested in getting together to chat over a beer or coffee or something.
