That's IT?

Bloody Hell! It really leaves you hanging, doesn't it? We don't even get to see how all that protein powder pays off the next day!

That's a lot of setup and exposition to let it just.. dangle like that. I wonder where this StufMscl went, and why he stopped such an intriguing story?

It was just getting good, and I was starting to hang on every word, and I couldn't wait until Leo began Day 2 of his awesome new life!

I also wondered if he would ever elaborate on those mysterious 4 hours he lost, perhaps in dreams or sudden memory flashbacks. But truth is, StudMscl had created the perfect McGuffin, and as a writer, he technically didn't need to detail that out, unless he felt the desire, or the story needed it somehow, further down the plot.

More importtantly, like Leo, I also wondered just how far this growth was going to take him, and if he was going to keep going for a while. That would be a sensational story arc, considering the point where he had started the main character from.

I also wondered if he was going to get additional powers as time went by, such as greater agility and reaction time, to name just one idea. I also wondered if pretty soon Leo's overall height would start being affected.

A pity this story was dropped. Maybe StudMscl is lurking out there under a new MGS name, and will take mercy on us, and continue this. There's actually been several talented authors with wonderful stories that have done that lately.

Continued or no, I enjoyed it a lot.

I had more strange dreams that night, but I only remembered a bit of them when I
woke up. Dean was in them, and so was Marla, but luckily never both at the same
time. That would have been too much for me to deal with. Still, I think I sort
of spent those hours getting used to what had happened at the health food store.
Seems like it anyway cuz I never really had a problem with it after that. Maybe
that was because I had other things to deal with before long, but I've always
looked back on my run in with that kid as a pretty good thing. A damn good
thing, really.

When I woke up I felt just like I had the morning before. None of that rolling
around in bed for an hour or two trying to find the energy to get up. I was just
suddenly awake and ready to go. It was nice for a change. I threw the covers
back, lifted myself up on my elbows and looked down my body, wanting to see the
lay of the land. No, I wasn't back to normal, which was a relief, and it looked
like things had gone even further while I slept. A lot further it turned out.

I climbed out of bed and lumbered to the bathroom, feeling like a big, old bear
heading out of his cave after sleeping for the winter. Only this bear was losing
most of his body hair so maybe the comparison doesn't work. Sizewise it did,
though. I just stood in front of the mirror for a couple minutes and stared,
trying to get my mind around what was happening to me.

I wasn't big anymore. Somewhere during the night I had crossed the border into
huge.

Given the superb writing this has been my favorite story for so long that I'm now Leo's age. With its supporting characters it was obviously intended to continue and it's a shame it never did.

Wow, it was quite a surprise to see the title of this story.

I wrote this a very long time ago - the oldest version I have on my hard-drive is from February 1997, which is kinda crazy. I always meant to go back and finish it - I still have notes on what I wanted to happen next which included further adventures with Jack and Ernie as well as with the high tech tycoon.

Maybe I should make this my next project since I haven't worked on any MG stuff for a while.

I'm very flattered by the compliments. I always liked the story too though as a writer I always see things that I could have done better.

So I will put pen to paper (so to speak) and so what I can come up with for the next part. I'm not sure how long it will take but I'll try to stay focused on the work.
